CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - A University of North Carolina graduate from Iran, accused of running down nine people on campus to avenge the treatment of Muslims, said at a hearing Monday that he was "thankful for the opportunity to spread the will of Allah."

Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar was accused of driving a sport utility vehicle through The Pit, a popular campus gathering spot, injuring nine people Friday. None of the victims was seriously hurt.

Police Chief Derek Poarch said Taheri-azar told investigators he intentionally hit people to "avenge the deaths of Muslims around the world."

Taheri-azar, 22, appeared in Orange County District Court in nearby Hillsborough on nine counts of attempted murder and nine counts of assault.

His bail was set at $5.5 million, and he was assigned a public defender, but he said after the hearing: "The truth is my lawyer."

Taheri-azar graduated from North Carolina in December after studying psychology and philosophy. Investigators believe he has spent most of his life in the United States.

On campus, UNC students held what they called an "anti-terrorism" rally.

"We don't want terrorism here, and we're not gonna stand for that where we live and where we go to school," said Kris Wampler, a student at UNC and member of the College Republicans, which helped organize the rally.

About 50 students attended the rally, including several Muslim students who debated with organizers and said Taheri-azar had not been linked to any terrorist group.

"When you think in terms of a global context, this was an isolated incident," said Khurram Bilal Tariq, a 22-year-old junior.

Stephen Mann, an 18-year-old freshman, said he wasn't singling out Islam with his call to label Friday's incident terrorism. He said a member of any religion who did what Taheri-azar is accused of doing should be called a terrorist.

"If you try to hurt someone in the name of a cause, that's terrorism," he said.

Folks:

If it is not one thing then it is another! As an Iranian American, we have been paying for the crimes of Islamic Republic of Iran since 1979 & for 27 + years! It seems like we are on the constant apology to Americans for the way IRI, Muslim & Mullahs have been behaving for the past 27 years!

We have to constantly prepare ourselves to explain, apologize & debate the Americans to clarify that we are not pro IRI, & actually we are against IRI.

Every once a while, something happens & once more we have to inform every American that majority of Iranian Americans are Anti IRI, Anti Terrorism & even Anti Islam!

Every few bloody month, we have to scream from top of our lungs that:

We are not Arabs
We are not Muslim
We are not Terrorists
We are not Sleeper Cells
We are not Pro IRI
We are Aryans
We are Americans

For 27 bloody years, this episode has been going on! First it was hostages, then Khomeini's rhetorics, next came Anti American propaganda of IRI, then came Anti American slogans & rallies, Then "Marg Bar Amrika" & "Death to Great Satan" episodes, then IRI funding all Islamist Terrorist Organizations, then Nuclear stories, then came ........

We kept on explaining & apologizing; we kept on separating ourselves from these people! We kept on insisting that Iranian Americans are civilized people & totally a different story than those Barbarians in Tehran who rule Iran!

We kept on preaching about AIOG (Arabo_Islamic Occupational Government) & we insisted that the Iranian Regime is not even Iranian, but they are Arabo_Muslim! On & on, we preached that Iranian Americans are civilized, but then all of a sudden now, something like this occurs!

An Iranian Grad Student in USA pulls a crap like this!

Now, what kind of excuse should we hand the Americans?
This bozo is not an IRI Terrorist! This bozo is a homegrown moron, a wanna be Terrorist! This bozo does not even have enough balls to do a drive by or a suicide bombing! This bozo is a wanna be terrorist, a piss ant who runs people over with his suburban SUV which his Muslim Daddy gave him for his 21st birthday!

But for how long can I keep this up? For how long must I apologize for Iranians' bad behavior? For how many decades must we explain & re-explain about Iran & Iranians? For how many years, must we play the good Muslim & Bad Muslim game? The Moderate & Fundamentalist Muslim game? For how many years must we put Shiite on Shingle? For how long must we cover up the Shiite? For how long must we hide the Shiite inside a golden pot (like Alahazrat)?!

And isn't it true that after all, we will have a golden pot full o Shiite, yet covered with a golden lead?!

Folks, I am sick & tired of explanations, cover ups, putting Shiite on shingle, Maleh Zani, embarrassments, justifications, bad remarks made by Westerners about Iran & Iranians, bla bla bla ...............

It has been 27 years of IRI garbage, causing trouble & uncivilized behavior.
It has been 27 years of apology, explanations, justifications, and civilized behavior from us!

While in USA:
To gather the boys & commit mass bombings of a number of Islamic Mosques, Foundations & Institutes with a great number of Muslim in them! I want to hear excruciating painful screams of Pious Muslim burning alive! I want an Islamic Horror, never ending screams to sooths my soul!

While in Iran (Once we overthrow Islamic Republic):
To commit The "Final Solution" & to do exactly what Hitler done to the Jews, yet I want to do it to Muslim! But instead of mass elimination of 6 million, I want to do a number on 12 million! Let's do double or nothing! I want mass genocide! I want rivers of blood, I want hills of decapitated heads, I want towers of headless bodies! I want to level Holy City of Qom! I want to level all Shiite Shrines & Holy sites! Maybe all this blood would calm me down!

I want to destroy everything & build a new!

How Do I Act?

Calm & smooth, sound & sane! Everyday, I tell myself:

Dispatcher: OK, you, sir, you just said you hit several people with a vehicle?

Dispatcher: Sir, tell me where this happened at.

Dispatcher: And why did you do this?
