Dr X- jaan,

Since you were concerned about the future of the Nepalese Monarchy I thought I would bring you the latest news :D

P.S. I'll address your earlier response as soon as I get time - however I must admit that I didn't see much "new" there :doubt: :(

Nepal's king gives in to demands

Nepalese take to the streets in celebration after King Gyanendra said he would reinstate parliament.

KATHMANDU, Nepal (CNN) -- Celebrations have replaced protests in the streets of Nepal in the hours after King Gyanendra announced he was reinstating the parliament he dissolved in 2002, giving in to demands of an alliance of seven political parties that launched protests three weeks ago.

CNN's Satinder Bindra reported that people were "just overjoyed" by the royal proclamation. The streets were quickly filling with citizens in the early hours of Tuesday, he said.

King Gyanendra delivered his royal proclamation in a brief television appearance late Monday night, saying the parliament would convene Friday.

"Nepal people are the source of the sovereign," the king said. "Sovereignty of Nepal remains in the Nepali people."

Within an hour, the street celebrations began.

"People are coming out, hugging each other, giving high-fives and dancing," Bindra said.

The protests of the last three weeks paralyzed Kathmandu, causing shortages of food and goods, and forcing residents to shop during the brief times that the curfews were lifted.

King Gyanendra seized power 14 months ago, after accusing the government of failing to control the Maoists, who began their insurgency in 1996 with the goal of forming a communist government. At least 13,000 people have died.

As pressure mounted, the king gave a national address Friday and vowed to return executive political power "to the people." The king said he would support democratic elections, and would retain the status he had before he seized power in February 2005. (Full story)

Some of the hard-line demonstrators -- many of them young people -- scoffed at the king's Friday speech, and said they wouldn't stop their protests until King Gyanendra actually left office.

The chief of Nepal's Army, a key supporter of the king, said the Army would support a constitutional monarchy that would increase the parliament's power at the expense of the king's, Bindra reported.

Nepalese security forces engaged Sunday in an hours-long gunfight with Maoist rebels in eastern Nepal, a government source said.

There were no reports of casualties in the battle in the town of Chautara, about 100 km (60 miles) east of Kathmandu.

One soldier was killed in a clash with rebels in Nepal's eastern region of Sindhulpalchowk, authorities said. Security forces battled Maoists who attacked a police post and surrounding government buildings late Saturday. The fighting ended around 2 a.m. Sunday.

In the midst if the unrest, the U.S. Embassy ordered all non-emergency staff and family members to leave Nepal "out of concern for the safety of U.S. government employees and their families."

U.S. Ambassador James Moriarty also warned that all American citizens in Nepal should consider leaving the country, because of uncertain security conditions.

Monday's clashes in Basundhara, a neighborhood on the northern edge of Nepal, were smaller than on previous days, AP quoted the independent Kantipur radio as saying.

Daily demonstrations against Gyanendra's absolute rule had escalated in recent days, and 14 people have died as protests entered their third week. Police were ordered to shoot anyone who crossed into the city of 1.5 million.

In Geneva, a U.N. rights expert said Monday that Nepal must repeal the shoot-to-kill policy.

"Under international law, widespread or systematic attacks against the civilian population are crimes against humanity," said Philip Alston, the United Nations' special investigator on illegal and arbitrary executions.

"The Nepalese government must immediately repeal its 'shoot-on-sight' policy for dealing with demonstrators," Alston said in a statement, AP reported.

"The government is, in effect, instructing its forces to shoot innocent people."

Lib please wake up and smell the coffee! :D

Gentlemen with your permission I must interfere to speak of a few issues.

Liberator's bias statements
http://www.iranpoliticsclub.net/club/vi ... =4169#4169

If we take Liberator's words as the truth, then we will conclude that in general, Monarchists are sane and mature people, but a few insane and immature ones so called undercover monarchists (Lib) in IPC are giving a bad name to Monarchists!

Truth
Truth of the matter is that IPC has many Monarchist members. The ones who don't post are the more sane and mature ones (remains to be seen)!

If we need to know monarchists, all we have to do is to review their many posts in IPC.

The ones who post, let us take a look at some of them:

Anjoman Padeshahi
Joe (Foroud Fouladvand, API Leader)
a-tash (Fouladvand's Right Hand))
Joehohoho (Fouladvand's Left Hand)
Kian (Kambiz Kian Kianfar, API Member)
azadeh (API Sympathizer)

Monarchists
spyder (Monarchist Top Dog)
Shahanshah (Monarchist Top Dog)

RP Monarchists
Shahrzad BB (Monarchist faithful to RP)
Emam Kooni (Monarchist faithful to RP)
IIRF (IIRF Representative)

The list goes on .............

The only sane voice is IIRF and even him, he is a Muslim! So how sane is he (remains to be seen)? No disrespect to IIRF.

There is also Shahrzad (semi sane), but then she is a conspiracy theorist, so how sane she really is (remains to be seen)?

That leaves us with Liberator who appears to be sane (remains to be seen)!

Statistics Lesson
IPC is a statistical sample of the Iranian Society. Its the same in Iranian Society.
So when Liberator finds himself the single sane person in a ocean of monarchists, he panics and he names everyone a fake monarchist! He also tries to put Amir (not a Monarchist) among his ranks!

If Amir is a monarchist, because he respects our past monarchs, then Q and I are also monarchists, so is Ahreeman! speaking of Q. Do you people know that Q is an Ex-Monarchist? I am honest and he really is. Do you know why he is not a monarchist anymore? Because one day he woke up and saw his alternatives are Reza Pahlavi and Foroud Fouladvand! He freaked out, seen reality and quit being a monarchist! Now he is a Nationalist!

Our friend Liberator cannot insult Shahanshah because he is not up to Liberator's standard of Monarchy! In reality, Shahanshah is not just a monarchist but a Top Dog monarchist and an active monarchist in a top monarchist organization (not named for privacy).

Our friend Liberator must stop lying to himself. He is a pebble in a ocean of sands (Monarchist World). IPC Monarchists are true monarchists and Liberator is just a pebble among them. IPC monarchists are also creme of the crop, because outside monarchists are worst (Aryo Pirouznia, Cyrus and Activist Chat, others)!

Tolerance
Monarchists must develop tolerance towards others and Liberator must develop tolerance towards Other Monarchists' Views!

Our friend Liberator must develop Tolerance. He is putting down, the Other Monarchists of IPC, because he has a difference of opinion with them. Because he differs with them, then he names them undercover monarchists, fake monarchists and other words.

Our friend Liberator must also understand that if Ahreeman would develop a screen name for every single monarchist who walks in IPC or is out there (whom are not up to Liberator's standard), then Ahreeman would have ran out of screen names! Liberator must stop his conspiracy theories and face the reality.

Our friend Liberator must wake up, smell the coffee and the harsh reality! Our friend Liberator doesn't have a problem with IPC Monarchists, but he has a problem with Monarchists in general (but he is not aware of it yet)!

Let us refer to a post from CR, for better understanding of the Monarchist Mental State:

IPC Web Mistress response to Anjoman Padeshahi
http://iranpoliticsclub.net/club/viewto ... 7090e#2465

Liberator, don't shoot the messenger (me), if the message (Reality of the Monarchist World) is not up to your standard!

No disrespect to devoted monarchist members of opposition who are working with IPC or are Op members, was intended.

BTW
Thanks for the Nepalese News, but (same as Iran in 1978) the king's latest action to throw a bone to the people (same as dogs), is a bit too late and a bit too little! When he had a chance, he abandoned democracy, now its too late. People want the end to monarchy!

PS
Do you like my title? :D

AQ

Atusa-jaan,

I hate coffee! Bring me some tea please! :D

I'm sorry but I cannot take that list you've come up with seriously.

To be honest with you I cannot see these users to be monarchists at all!

Joe (who you have named Forood Fooladvand!)
Joehohoho (lol it's the same person! he/she probably forgot they had an account and created a new one)
Shahanshah (hard time believing he is a monarchist)
Emam Kooni (lol I guess him insulting the Pahlavi's makes him monarchist lol)

But I leave it up to everyone else to conclude on their own (shouldn't be too difficult in my opinion).

The others in your list I have no problem with but the above are a joke! On all the Iranian forums that i've posted on in the past I have never seen people like those who you claim are "monarchists". I have never come across a person like "shahanshah", "emam kooni" etc on any other site hence my surprise that people actually take them so seriously and insist that they are "monarchists".

As for the remark about Dr X i was just playing with the old bull's tail!

I'm not going to fight about who you believe are monarchists on here because I see no point in guessing games. I suggest for those that might be in doubt to actually speak to an Iranian monarchist. My personal experience tells me that these people "Imam Kooni" and co. cannot be monarchists but that Iranian monarchists are more in tune with the stance of our very own "IIRF".

Anyways I won't get too hung up on "guessing games"...

P.S. I thought Amir was a monarchist but I might be wrong! Whatever he is, he is a brother and a patriot who I support fully.

Dear Good Fellow X, (lmao)

I. The Key Words is "Elected Officials"! In a Republic, there exists Elected Officials by the masses; therefore, All Republics are Democracies.

In a Constitutional Monarchy the people rule through their elected representatives in parliament.

II. Encyclopaedia Britannica with its flawed definitions can roll up as a Burrito & get shoved up Queen's Butt!

Ingilisias! Ingilisiaaaa loool (Amir!! :D ) Here's what the Encyclopedia Britannica says about their credibility:

Trustworthy Results.
· Cited in U.S. Supreme Court cases.
· Expert contributors: More than 90 have won Nobel prizes. Most are authors, university professors, commentators, museum curators, scientists, and other experts chosen for their field expertise.
· Trusted by over 7 million students at top colleges and universities worldwide.

More than 90 Piss Nipple Prize winners have contributed to it! You better believe it! =D>

No but seriously it is a credible source and the same definition is given by other encyclopedias as well.

Btw I couldn't find the "General Political Encyclopaedia" :-k But lets say you are right the same applies to Constitutional Monarchy were you have elected officials who represent the people and work for their benefit.

In special cases, president does not need even the OK of the congress to declare war.

That's absolutely not "democratic"

The Frag with Encyclopedia Britannica.
The only Encyclopaedia you need, is:
"Encyclopaedia Ahreemanica!"

Well after trying to locate the "General Political Encyclopaedia" but to no avail I tried the "Encyclopaedia Ahreemanica!" and it led me to a Zoroastrian site! :-s lol

Don't move on too fast! Have a 2nd cup of tea in IPC Chai-Khaneh. Ahay Bache Kuni, bring the 2nd cup for Haj Viking?

LOOL! or KILLER RIOT as you say!!! :D
With saffron-sugar-cubes please (they have those now)!!

This is about The Evolution of your brain from the 16th century pattern of thought & upgrade it to the 21st Century school of thought!

Well I guess Swedes, Brits, Japanase...are all cavemen for not having understood that they should overthrow their long-standing and well-established historical monarchies and replace it with republics! :-:

People in Iran do not even know anymore "what Monarchy means!"

Then they shall be educated what Monarchy means and maybe they will come to the same conclusion as I have that monarchy might be better in the case of their motherland who has a rich and long-standing monarchial tradition. :intel:

II. Come off it! Bache Kuni is a solid Reza Pahlavi fan!

And i'm Mollah Omar from Kandahar! :ayatollah: :pirate:

So in other words, you say that Iranians are Gav O Olaq & more likely they shall remain so (Typical Monarchial Speech)?!

Actually I was asking whether you thought Iranians would be able to "civilize" their LEADERS since you are concerned that a "bad ruler" might come to power - there is no reference to the Iranian people as a whole there.

In a republic there are Checks & Balances. President cannot become a Dictator because he has limited powers overseen by other branches of government.

Well President Bush took on "dictatorial powers" when he went to war without congressional approval (what happened afterwards is not our concern). Also the President has executive power and is more likely to take over power than a ceremonial Constitutional Monarch who only has symbolic power.

Dear Good Fellow Lib (Bache Kuni style o talk):

You're killing me!!

You are not a scientific man!
Why you ask?
Because:

a) You are a Creationist (Believe in God)
b) You are a Monarchist (Believe in Outdated System of Government)
c) You are more Emotional than Logical.

A- true
B- false
C) true/false

Later Fellow Liberator (Bache Kuni Style O Talk)!

Later amigo! Enjoy your trip!

:iloveu: with or without!!! (loool quote from a fellow "monarchist"!!! :lolbang: )

Since there is doubt regarding my views, I’ll go ahead and clarify myself as best as I can. I tried to do so before, but perhaps I didn’t give as much of a detailed description as I should have given.

First of all, since this is my first direct interaction with you, AQ, allow me to extend my greetings and salutations to you (and no, MOA’s interaction with you doesn’t count). You present your thoughts in a precise and logical way, and I certainly enjoy reading your posts. AQ, may you live long and prosper.

Now, on to my opinions and views.

Regarding Monarchy and Monarchists:

Instinctively, when I hear the description of “monarchist,â€
I am Dariush the Great King, King of Kings, King of countries containing all kinds of men, King in this great earth far and wide, son of Hystaspes, an Achaemenian, a Persian, son of a Persian, an Aryan, having Aryan lineage

My honorable friend Amir is good with words, perhaps he can educate me:

1- Are U implying that AQ’s brand of Coffee is too week? AQ, likes to haler and tell U what not to post in this or that room, but he will be real mad to hear that his is bad.

2-
Live Long and prosper? How long did U live on Vulcan? It will be nice to see a Star Track Avatar for U. If U want one, let me know.

Hi BK,

How are you? It’s good to see you in here, even though outside is clearly marked “Monarchy or Republic,â€

[b]Fellow Amir,

1- One who has the humility to admit his fault and apologies, as U did in the Islam-section, renders himself an honorable, a word that is not confined to authority, look it up.

2-
Now I am confused, AQ is man and has a nice family and good looking daughter too that I kina have an eye for, honorably, just like Resa Pahlavi’s older daughter. Now, U may be confusing AQ with the Machinegun-Q who is a certified ‘doer’.

I think, in all fairness and for the sake of your “honorâ€

What are you talking about, BK? What apology are you referring to? Are you smoking grass?...Not that there’s anything wrong with that. It’s just that if you’re smoking grass in here, do the honorable thing and share.

I was just teasing you with the “honorableâ€

2- It seems that the thought of unleashing AQ-s mortified U. Damm it Amir, was it your legs shaking or U got the hots for the Emam?

Thanks X (60%) Insider (100%), I mean MOA, for your kind mediation; wondering, if this makes U some kind of "kesh", i.e. "koon-kesh", etc.?

Why don't U send me a picture of your good side and your telephine number and we will call it even?

PS: Have I heart your feelings, lately? It seams that the Freudian balance of your Ego and Libido is pathologically off, rendering your supper libido moot (that means U can not get it up/)! Did U say that even Viagra does no longer work for U? As a first step, U should drop MOA and reveal your real identity and face your fears, as any good psychiatrist will tell U. Hey, ask Dr. BB, Procto-psychologist (Opps, I forgot, she has not had a bowl movements for months). Well ask Dr. Lector:
