This article was recently published and I think you should all read it. Iran is stronger and better than ever it has been.

UK Artist-Iran Visit
British artist, Emily Jones has returned from a fact-finding mission to Iran, saying that the way forward in the dispute of Tehran's peaceful nuclear program was face-to-face talks.

"The aim of the delegation was to counter the quite hawkish attitude towards Iran and finding a non-violent solution to the current crisis," Jones said.

The artist was the only British member of a 23-man delegation organized by the Fellowship of Reconciliation US (FOR), the Muslim Peace Fellowship (US) and the Justice Not Vengeance, based in Hastings, southeast England.

The 12-day visit, the second arranged by FOR in the last six months, met Iranians from all walks of life and conveyed the message that face-to-face dialogue rather than threats and intimidation, are the only solution to the current crisis.

"We went in order to bridge divides and show the British and American governments that the way forward through this political crisis is to sit in the same room and talk through difficulties face- to-face," Jones told the local Hastings Observer Tuesday.

The 41-year old artist said she was also creating pictures about Iran, past and present, and exhibiting them at the Electric Palace cinema, as part of an Iran season of films, during the Coastal Currents Arts Festival this September.

The delegation, comprising people of different faith traditions, traveled the country and met with representatives of religious communities, the media, academics and students, women's groups, and a variety of nongovernmental and social service organizations.

They visited cultural and historic sites in Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, and the holy city of Qom, held a meeting with Iranian media and delivered to the Iranian people thousands of handwritten messages of peace from ordinary Americans.

On their last full day in Iran last week, the delegation was also invited to a two-hour meeting with Iranian Vice President Dr.

Esfandiar Rahim Mashai.

FOR said the delegates found common ground with Dr. Mashai in the desire for increased dialogue and exchanges between Iran and the West.

"Our experience of Iranian society, the warm welcome of the people, and the hope for real dialogue, breaks down all the stereotypes that have been promulgated for the last 27 years," said American delegate David Robinson, director of Pax Christie.

"We return intent on dispelling this 'enemy' image -- an image that makes it easy to consider bombing them," said Robinson, who is director of the Pax Christie peace group.

FOR said that they hoped to brief members of the US Congress about their trip, to convey their conviction that there are peaceful options for defusing the current political standoff over Iran's nuclear program.

While I do not advocate an invasion of Iran by Western countries, I also laugh at articles such as this one. I don’t want to see bombs dropping in Iran, but following a path of “dialogueâ€

The great one

Postby DoctorArvid » Tue May 30, 2006 8:35 pm

In the name of Allah, the great one. I want to remind you that you have a duty to live up to your name. Do not be bigot to yourself and your culture. You act like like a infidel. Educate yourself. Iran has been wronged not by the mullahs but by the West.

Iran sues Saddam Hussein
5/28/2006 10:45:00 AM GMT
Iran has filed a lawsuit against the toppled Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein for his 1980s war against Tehran, Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, who’s on a visit to Baghdad, said Saturday in a joint statement with his Iraqi counterpart.

"The two sides, noting the crimes committed by Saddam Hussein's regime in its aggression against the people of Iraq, Iran and Kuwait, confirmed the need to seek justice for that," the statement said.

"To this end the Iranian Republic has passed on to the Foreign Ministry of Iraq a complaint against Saddam and his agents for examination by the Iraqi High Tribunal", the statement added.

During his visit Mottaki declared his country’s support for Iraq's new government and pledged to help it with reconstruction projects.

Saddam and seven co-defendants are facing trial over Dujail massacre, involving the killing of nearly 150 Shias in 1980s, after a failed attempt to assassinate the former Iraqi President.

According to AFP report, the complaint filed by Tehran did not include any charges against Saddam or any of the members of his former regime.

On July 1982 Saddam arrived in Dujail for a meeting aimed at lobbying support over the country's war againt Iran, when a member of the Daawa party opened fire at him. The former Iraqi leader escaped the assassination attempt, which was followed by a heated shooting fight that lasted for a few hours.

As a punishment for the assassination attempt, Saddam's secret police raided the Dujail village, captured a number of people and conducted field trials.

About 150 people were executed and the rest of the village residents were banished by the police to camps in the desert

Oh….that Khoda. Thanks for clarifying. You see, there are many little black stones, thieving pirates, bastard sons, old men getting high and talking to bushes, etc that pose as “Khodasâ€

The Islamic Republic occupying Iran gives out doctorates like candy to Islamists like this who hail from Taazi backgrounds. Then as if that is not enough damage done they send them abroad to represent Iran in the hostage taken Iranian embassies and consulates abroad.

HAJ-Arvid, welcome to IPC; where your downfall begins and Iran's revival takes off.

The Islamic Republic is a sick, cancer-stricken, anti-Iranian, Taazi entity that the Iranian people have to dispose themselves of ASAP.

Taazi Halal Meat

Postby Amir » Thu Jun 01, 2006 6:43 pm

Yes, there was an empire thousands of years ago but Iran has been muslim for more years than many modern countries have been around.

Yet it had been Aryan and truly Iranian for thousands of years before that. The roots of that culture have been infected by your is-slum, but they still live. Iran will never die, no matter how much the Taazi wishes it.

You want to make jokes then this is not the place to do it.

Why not? What is the place to do it? Your mosque? A mosque is itself the joke.

That’s the problem with brain-washed Taazis. They have no sense of humor, and don’t realize a good joke when they hear or see one. If they did, they would all be laughing in the mosques instead of crying.

I am being here to trying to help you who have been lost find their way home.

And I am being here to trying to help you who have been lost continue to remain lost. I am being here to trying to help you get lost.

I’m just kidding, Doctor Doodool-little; don’t cry. I’m actually quite happy that you are here. Let me tell you why.

I am a carnivore, and I love to eat meat. Steak, hamburger, kabob…you name it. A while ago, we used to have our own IPC butcher called Asghar Ghasab.

http://www.iranpoliticsclub.net/club/pr ... file&u=208

He was awesome; best butcher in town. He provided us with choice cuts of meat, and all of it Halal. We used to feast when he was here. I don’t know what happened. One day we just stopped hearing from him. He got up and left. Perhaps he’s on sabbatical. At least, that’s what we hope. We hope he’ll come back some day, and hook us up with his yummy Halal cuts of loin.

Since he has been gone, I have been restricted to a bland vegetarian diet. Little Worrywarts, Shooshools, etc are nutritious, but bland as hell. I’m tired of eating salad!

My problem was solved when you arrived. You, Doctor Doodool-little, are a fresh piece of meat. Yummy, yummy, in my tummy! Not only are you fat and juicy, but also Halal. That’s an added bonus, because I’ll know that I’ll go to heaven just in case “Allah is watching.â€

Hey Amir,

Better than Star Trek Avatar:

PS: Hey Amir,

That animation is actually two separate entities, which for U are transparent; the dancing baby is independent. If U left mouse click on it and select save image, U can save it to your drive and later upload it to ISP server, as an avatar.

Or try this: ____________________<---I think He is Klingon ok.

Don't Forget...

Postby Amir » Fri Jun 02, 2006 2:15 pm

I like it TBK. It’s fresh.

Not quite as good as Star Trek, but it will do for now.

I like the dancing baby. He’s got a few good moves. Let’s keep him.

He’s repeating my song, so I definitely like him. However, you left out the most crucial part of the song. The concluding thought. The absolute pinnacle of my conveyed message:

O can’t you see
Your ass belongs to me

Although I sent that song via singing telegram to Doctor Doodool-little, the song is certainly not unique to just him. I currently hold the title to the asses of many little rats and mice of IPC. Oh yes, my real estate holdings are quite large.

One of the aforementioned asses is of course your own. You may not be aware of this, but Asghar Ghasab was fighting a foreclosure and sold me your ass at a real bargain before he went on sabbatical. I said to him “what do I want with BK’s ass? It’s worthless.â€
