Will the new Iranian Cryptocurrency be the answer to the Iran’s collapsed economy? The prospect of the Iranian economy is gloomy and obscured.

When you put a bunch of fortune teller Mullahs in charge of a great economy, they will naturally steal everything except the kitchen sink and run the nation’s economy to the ground!

Great scholar Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran’s foreign minister has released a YouTube Video and slapped Trump hard. Iran will not play Trump’s game. Iran stands firm against the world imperialist powers and will not allow them to go back on the deal. Nuclear Deal will stand.

For those on this forum and in exile, pay attention good, we will not play your game and we don’t care to play your game. With all the decades of sanctions, war, cheap tricks and dirty deals, we are still standing and we are planning to stand forever.

You propagate, we hit you with counter propaganda. We are journalist, we know the game.

The world is ours.

Not one step back in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and anywhere in land of Islam.
We are victorious

Iran's foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has criticized President Donald Trump's threat to withdraw from the nuclear deal, saying Iran will not "renegotiate or add onto" the atomic accord. He posted a five-minute video on YouTube in response to Trump's signaling that he will withdraw from the agreement by May 12 if it is not renegotiated and altered. Those changes have included proposals to limit Iran's ballistic missile program, which Tehran says it has as a defensive deterrent. In the video, Zarif also appears to troll Trump, saying: 'To put it in real estate terms, when you buy a house and move your family in it or demolish it to build a skyscraper, you cannot come back two years later and renegotiate the price.'

Iran’s Economy Speeds to Death!

Iran’s Economy Speeds to Death!

Iran’s economy may be headed for a death spiral
Now that Trump nixed the nuclear deal

Bryan Borzykowski

CNBC

Pro-government demonstrators hold a poster of Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei during a march following the weekly Muslim Friday prayers in Tehran on January 5, 2018.

•Renewed U.S. economic sanctions against Iran could push its fragile economy into a death spiral.
•Sanctions are expect to slash oil revenue and foreign investment needed to shore up Iran's banking system.
•Iran's currency, the rial, has lost 25 percent of its value against the U.S. dollar over the past few weeks.
•Iranians are protesting government corruption, high unemployment and inflation.

Just a few minutes after President Trump said on Tuesday that the U.S. plans to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal, Hassan Rouhani, the country's president, stood defiantly, flanked by his cabinet, to say that he wanted to work with the remaining countries to keep the deal alive.

While Rouhani may have been sending a message to the U.S., his speech was also designed to reassure his own citizens that America's move wouldn't further damage the country's fragile economy. "He wanted to project calm and predictability," said Suzanne Maloney, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution's Center For Middle East Policy.

That calm may not last long as renewed sanctions on Iran could, once again, send its economy into a downward spiral. Over the past several weeks, Iran's rial has lost 25 percent of its value against the U.S. dollar, while inflation is hovering at around 8 percent. Iranians are also struggling with a severe credit crisis that has seen several banks go bankrupt. Unemployment is above 11 percent and citizens have taken to the streets to protest mismanagement and government corruption.

The country's GDP has also suffered, going from 6.6 percent in 2010 to negative 1.5 percent in 2015, when sanctions were in full force, but it's rebounded since. The IMF was predicting GDP growth of 4.3 percent this year, but that could fall sharply after sanctions are re-imposed.

President of Iran Hassan Rouhani addresses during the cabinet meeting in Tehran, Iran on December 31, 2017.

With the nuclear deal off the table now, there are fears that U.S. sanctions will return and that European companies, like automaker Daimler and oil company Total, which rushed into the country after sanctions were lifted in 2015, could pull their investments. That could push the Iranian economy to the brink of disaster, according to the IMF. In a report released two days before Trump's announcement, it said that sanctions could pose a risk to the nation's banking system and may be a threat to its international trade relationships.

U.S. aerospace giant Boeing has an estimated $20 billion in planned aircraft sales to Iran. The company's Middle East business head told CNBC this week it's following the U.S. government's lead and the company has always mitigated the potential risk to Iranian airline sales in building its broader global production plan.

There's another big concern: the impact that an oil export ban could have on government revenue. Iran is OPEC's third-largest producer, exporting about 2.5 million barrels of oil a day. A recent Bloomberg survey forecast that Iran could lose up to 500,000 barrels of oil a day in output if it's not allowed to sell its crude to other countries.

Crippling sanctions

Iran's economy started to falter in 2010, when U.S. sanctions were first imposed. Those sanctions made it extremely difficult for Iran to do business with companies in other countries, and to bring oil revenue back into the country.

Image
An Iranian military truck carries surface-to-air missiles past a portrait of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei during a parade on the occasion of the country's annual army day on April 18, 2018, in Tehran.

"The financial measures the U.S. put in place made it effectively impossible for Iran to repatriate revenue from oil sales," Maloney said, adding that sanctions also hurt Iran's foreign currency holdings, and made it difficult to import goods and services for its people and industries.

Oil exports fell from about 2.4 million barrels a day to 1.4 million barrels a day – it didn't help that oil prices fell by about 60 percent during those years. The Iranian rial plummeted by about 65 percent between 2010 and 2015, and it's fallen even further since. Medicine became difficult to obtain and prices for meat and eggs soared.

Maloney, who has been studying Iran for years, said it was the worst period for Iran's economy in its history. "Never has there been a time where the wages, earnings and purchasing power of Iranians has been as impacted as it was," she said.

With the economy slowly coming back to life over the last couple of years, and oil exports picking up, things were getting better. Now, though, Iranians are worried about what might happen next, Maloney said. Other governments, market watchers and economists are also paying careful attention to the country's economic situation.

Not as bad as before

It's expected to take about six months before sanctions are imposed again, but Tom Elliott, a London-based international investment strategist with financial firm deVere Group, doesn't think the economy will be hit nearly as hard as it was a few years ago.

First of all, China, which is one of Iran's main oil buyers, is not part of the sanctions. "It's unlikely to show that it will be bossed around by America," he said.

Secondly, Europe, which did go along with the sanctions previously, may not follow suit again. Elliott thinks the region will seek a waiver to allow it to continue buying oil from Iran, and if it does that, then it will likely keep doing business with the country in the same way it does now.

If Trump does force the European Union to follow the U.S. lead, that could cause a big rift, he said.

Maloney noted that historically Europe and the U.S. have not seen eye-to-eye on Iran. During the 1979 Iranian hostage crisis, Europe and other allies expanded trade with the country. Europe also hasn't taken as hard of a line on Iran's terrorist funding activities as the U.S. has. Coordinated cooperation started during the Bush administration and came to fruition during the Obama years, but Maloney thinks it's unlikely that will continue. If Europe doesn't impose its own sanctions, then Iran's economy may be able to stay afloat.

None of this means Iran is out of the woods. If America does flex its muscle, and if Europe does join in on the sanctions, its economy would certainty suffer. In some ways, though, what happens with the economy itself is secondary. If its citizens feel as though things could get worse then they could protest, which is what happened in December, when thousands of people took to Iran's streets.

"The uncertainty is not about the complete shutdown of Iran's economy, but about whether it exacerbates what's already a low-level psychological crisis," Maloney said. "The value of the currency has dropped precipitously over the last couple of weeks alone. Does the panic revive itself and become worse? Do we see a dramatic capital flight from the country? These things can happen even if macroeconomic indicators look OK."

People are also fed up with government corruption, she said. Most aren't happy that their money goes to fund Hezbollah in Lebanon and the war in Syria, while reports of banks running Ponzi schemes to enrich people in power has infuriated many citizens – especially those who have lost money after banks have gone under.

If Iranians do rise up, the government could be forced to fight back with violence, and that would certainly send its economy into a tailspin and spook its Middle East neighbors. "It's difficult to see how the younger generation maintains the status quo," Elliott said.

Global market mayhem

As long as the turmoil is contained within Iran's borders, global markets shouldn't falter, Elliott said. Oil prices could rise, and they have climbed in recent days to as high as $71, but it's in no one's interest to see oil prices jump to $100 a barrel or more, he said. If that happens, then U.S. drilling will increase, supply will climb and, eventually, oil prices will plummet.

The real danger, said Elliott, is that Trump's Iran exit will spark a war in the Middle East. Israel may be taking America's actions as a sign that it can now attack Iranian bases in Syria, and it did launch a "daring" strike against several Iranian targets in the country last night after rockets were fired into Israel from Syria.

If tensions escalate, then Israel, Syria, Lebanon, Iran and maybe even Saudi Arabia — which would likely come to Israel's defense — could find themselves engaged in battle. That would have a negative impact on economies around the world. "It would raise the price of gold, the dollar and oil and fears of a war spreading could take hold," Elliott said. "If Russia and Turkey get involved then things could get nasty."

As of now, markets have not reacted negatively to the deal pullout. The S&P 500 is up about 1.8 percent since the May 8 announcement, while the CBOE Volatility Index has fallen from 16 two days ago to about 13.5 today. That suggests that investors think Iran's economy won't suffer more than it already has, Elliott said.

But it's still early days.

"We'll see the full effects of this in the winter, so we need to wait," he said. "Unless Trump gets heavy on European allies, then I think Iran can see this through. But if Israel takes it as a blessing that it's time to hit Iran, then we could see war begin."

Iranians Beware! Today most political commentaries about Iran by the Persian speaking media outlets are paid for by foreign powers' supporters and puppeteers of mullahs' illegitimate mafia regime occupying Iran.

These European countries, according to their own admission, are making at least 25 billion dollars per year from mullahs' illegitimate medieval regime, that they consider as their "NEOCOLONIAL PROTECTORATE" (Countries such as; UK, France, Germany, Russia and their Crude-Oil Companies, and some democrats in the US).

Also, so-called Daily Iran News Analysis such as done by Mr. Chall's is a daily Brain-Washing Propaganda in favor of mullahs for the navies, (daily Insidious Brainwashing Propaganda by traitors to Iran and Iranians, by highly paid Persian speaking mercenaries, with the goal to legitimize this illegitimate mafia regime of traitor mullahs occupying Iran today, and to keep these foreign puppet criminal mullahs in power).

Those who use the fake expression "1979 Revolution in Iran" instead of the correct appellation "1979 Foreign Powers' Plot in Iran" (and Foreign Sponsored "Regime Change" in Iran, of 11 February 1979) knowingly or not, are fabricators of fake news.

"Revolution" is a wrong word for 1979 foreign sponsored "regime-change" in Iran, those who still use it are either TOTALLY DECEIVED by the mullahs and their foreign powers puppeteers, continuously for the past 40-years, simply are politically naive, ignorant, or were beneficiary, mercenary organizers, or traitor participants in 1979 foreign plot of regime-change and Coup d’états in Iran

Violent Protests Leave 1 Dead & 7 Injured in Kazerun, Iran

Violent Protests Leave 1 Dead & 7 Injured
in Kazerun, Fars Province, Iran

Beginning of the 2nd Wave of Iran Protests
Protest Starts from Fars Province, South Iran
Fire Starts from Kazerun

RFE
https://www.rferl.org/

A violent protest in the city of Kazeroon in southwestern Iran has left at least one person dead and six others injured, Iranian media report.

Esmail Tabadar, the governor of the province of Fars, where Kazeroon is located, confirmed the death of one protester in a May 17 interview with the semiofficial ISNA news agency.

Tabadar said that "there were still scattered protests" in the city. But he added that "the situation is under control."

The semiofficial Fars news agency said a "small number" of protesters gathered in Kazeroon, some 900 kilometers south of Tehran, late on May 16 and set fire to a police station.

Peaceful protests have been taking place for weeks in Kazeroon against a decision by the local administration to separate some districts of the city and merge them into a new town.

Following previous protests, the authorities had pledged that the division of the districts would not take place.

In a statement published by the semiofficial Tasnim news agency on May 17, the Interior Ministry urged “the wise people of Kazeroon to be alert against plots of the opposition groups and enemies of Iran."

Those who wanted to "create disorder and harm the national security will be firmly confronted legally," the statement added.

An eyewitness told the BBC that "several people" had been detained at an afternoon protest and that people had gathered in front of a police station to call for the release of the protesters.

"Shots fired by the police made the atmosphere tense. Protesters entered the police station and set it on fire," the eyewitness was quoted as saying by the BBC.

The New York Center for Human Rights in Iran quoted local sources as saying that at least three people were killed. Several amateur videos said to be from the protest were making the rounds on social media.

In one video posted online, protesters appeared to carry an injured man. In another, protesters chanted slogans against Iran's state policies.

Some demonstrators said that the United States was not Iran's real enemy, as claimed by Iranian leaders.

"Our enemy is right here. They're wrong to say it's America," they chanted.

How to Identify Mullahs' Illegitimate Regime Traitor Mercenaries and Their Foreign European Governments' Agent Supporters?

Recently foreign agent supporters of the mullahs' illegitimate regime occupying Iran today have began a new propaganda, with the help of foreign outlets such as BBC Persian service, to use the deception of calling the "1979 foreign powers' plot of regime change in Iran" with the fake appelation of "Iran revolution", dropping the word "islamic" and replacing it with "Iran". Or even, writing nonsensical propaganda articles in a persian news papers to try futilely sell the 1979 foreign powers' sponsored regime change as a revolution.

Just recently, starting with BBC, this big-lie of calling the foreign powers' regime change in Iran, the plot of 11 February 1979, as a so-called "islamic revolution", and now the BBC and mullahs' illegitimate regime's mercenaries try to replace "islamic" with "Iran".

We can easily identify these mercenary traitors to Iran and Iranians who can only fool themselves. The media outlets that have started using this fake name, first time used by BBC Persian, for the 1979 foreign powers' plot of regime change and coup d'etat in Iran have failed miserably to fool anyone, they have given the Iranians a way to identify these mullahs' illegitimate regime mercenary traitors.
^

PS. Another Neocolonial Longterm Oil Contract by Mullah' Illegitimate regime with the UK.

A British newspaper The Times of London published last week that a new longterm (30-years) (read Neocolonial) contract between British Crude Oil Consortium and mullahs' illegitimate regime has been signed in Tehran with the mullahs' regime oil ministry representative, in the presence of UK New Ambassoder in Tehran, with the exchange of Deeds for vast Iranian lands, in the north of Iran, to be given to this British Oil Consortium for 30 years for Crude Oil Companies Exploitation. Note; this neocolonial contract has not even been approved by the mullahs' illegitimate regime's so -called Parliament or "Majles"

Yey Suren Bravo =D>

You can literally write something aside 60 part series and British coup! You’re not a robot after all! You’re just limited in your vocab, subjects and writing. That’s no shame, it just takes practice!

:-k Actually I agree with you on this. I hate to agree with you on anything [-X but on this one I do. You are way too much out there in conspiracy land. But I must ask you something,

](*,) Don’t you think people know very well about the British and EU influence in Iran? British and EU are the reason even after Trump broke the nuclear deal, IRI is still standing and hoping to salvage the deal somewhat. British and EU are the cause of IRI still being alive. British and EU are having a hell of a time dealing and trading with IRI which has a sale on all Iranian goods to make money for Mullahs and regime. In other words, British and EU are robbing Iran blind.

I think after a few centuries of British Colonial and Neo Colonial policy towards Iran and third world, every thinking Iranian knows these facts. In fact everyone who reads IPC knows these facts. If they are here and read IPC, then they must know these facts.

The thing about you is that:

1. You expand the British influence to God like power behind everything. Dai Jan Napoleon used to also do that! You see British everywhere. Ingilisa, Ingilisa! I think you are losing it and going nuts!

2. You think people are stupid and they have no clue about the British influence! Iranians are very politically knowledgeable and well schooled. College Students, Student Movement, Young Professionals, Democratic Movement and Scholars who make up the IPC readers are well aware of the British influence. Suren, we are not clueless about politics and facts of life. Maybe you understand in Persian:

Ma az poshte kooh nayoomadim.

IPC is not an elementary school and you are not the teacher to educate us about the British influence in Iran. You act like we are stupid.

By repeating yourself ongoing, you are the one who sounds stupid, robotic and surely with limited vocabulary and subject to write.

I have a suggestion for you. Change your line and expand your vocab. Maybe then people take you seriously and don’t make fun of you. Maybe IRI agents over here, also stop having a comedy routine with you.

:peeper: My diagnosis of you is that you are deep in Twilight Zone, paranoid with the British everywhere, but in fact French and German are a bigger threat because they are building nuclear facilities for IRI, importing more goods for IRI and having bigger trade deals with IRI. They have more in stake with IRI than British.

Suren, stop being Dai Jan Napoleon. Ingilisa, Ingilisa! :turtle:

Take an appointment from my secretary and I visit you, first visit on the house! :doctorF:

Sharzad BB,

In support of my comments here please see the post script (PS) addition that I have just added to my previous posting above.

Also, these comments are directed to the general public in Iran and to all Iranians, they are not meant only for the very well educated individuals that are running, or view, this PC website

For any fact or information to reach a large number of public (80 millions) in Iran (or anywhere else) must be repeated many times, (because each time only a small fraction of public will see it) that is the bases for all advertising.

The Persian saying "dar khaaneh agar kass ast, yek harf bas ast" does not apply in politics, when it comes to giving the information, and facts, to a very large number of public.

Wise Words from an Iranian Technocrat to Open Minds
If you love Iran, listen and learn
To Olama of IPC

Shalom Haji Joohoodeh, Jamaican Girl and IPC Olama

Yes sir, a nation of 85 million, many well educated were waiting for darling Mr. Sunday Jew Bird, Monarchist Reza Pahlavi Agent and Israeli Agent to spew repeated propaganda of pro terrorists on a pro terrorist site of IPC against the Islamic Republic of Iran, legitimately elected by the Iranian people.

Your ignorance is clear. We are not terrorists and agents but you are terrorists and agents. You jokers and this site participating in activities against legitimate government of Iran voted in by the Iranian people. You are committing treason against our republic.

So what if Iran signs economically beneficial agreements, mutually beneficial for both sides with France, Germany and Britain? This is what governments do. Almost 4 decades under US sanctions and hostility and for most parts pressure from not only European nations but from the world, we survived and we are surviving. World against Iran since 1978 and we are still alive and well. We are not only surviving but we are a super power in the Middle East, Asia and relevant in world politics. Of course we make deals with Britain and why shouldn’t we? Didn’t past governments of Iran before Islamic Republic made deals with Britain?

We sell products at low price to capture the markets and make large revenue to power our republic, why shouldn’t we? We are not colony to anyone but we are playing everyone and bending their will for the benefit of our republic. Today we are masters of Middle East, a power in Asia and a major player in world affairs. Iran has never been more powerful than today under Islamic Republic of Iran government.

The proof is right here in front of your eyes. According to your own clowns Ahreeman and Catayoun, this crackpot IPC is the most relevant Iranian site globally. IPC is the most trafficked and largest and best and most beautiful and most controversial AND MOST BLA BLA BLA so and so Iranian propaganda site on net, right? IPC is also supporting the entire so called opposition as we call terrorist groups. IPC is in cahoots with taghoutiyoun, monafeghin, la mazhabiyoun, moshrekin, komonistha, seculars and every other so called Iranian opposition party in or out of Iran, right? What have you done after all these years? You could not even make a dent on our republic. You are like flies stinging the butt of a giant elephant which is Islamic Republic of Iran.

Your student movement, democratic movement, political parties, opposition, intellectuals and so and so are all pashm and pofaki made of nothing. You could not do anything and you will sum to nothing. Lets say you create another riot, a nation wide riot and we will crush them like we did in 2009 and 2017. Don’t make me laugh. You are nothing, with all your power you are nothing because Iranian people are behind our republic.

Does our republic have problems, corruption, flaws and trouble?
Yes it does and so does any other government in the world.
What’s the answer?
The answer is not to destroy it, like you are trying to do.
The answer is to change and reform from within like we are trying to do.
We are the technocrats and rationalists who build Iran.

We already have a republic, why not make it perfect?
The answer is to help us to build Iran and get rid of the problems.
The answer is not to destroy Iran like you are doing.

Before 1979, Iran was a puppet and a colony to the America, Britain and the West. After 1978 until today, we created an independent and powerful Iran, master of the Middle East and continent. We export products from cars, can goods, agriculture goods, food products, industrial products and oil and gas to all over Middle East and Asia. We sell to everyone including Britain. That you idiots, doesn’t make us puppets of Britain but it makes us the puppeteers of Britain, Europe and world. We are playing the world and mold them in to our game.

Don’t underestimate our republic and smarts of Iranian people. You did once in 1978 and saw what occurred. Learn from history and don’t do it again. We are not going anywhere but we kicked you out and made you live like dirty gypsies and homeless around the world. You wish you could come to Iran but Iran is no place for you until you beg forgiveness and join our republic.

Islam is also here to stay and you cannot separate it from government and our lives. It is only a religion and tradition. It is part of our culture. Islam is as much part of culture as Cyrus and Pan Iranism is. You can’t change our culture. The problem is not Islam. The problem is ignorance and corruption. The problem is people who are in charge, many are not cut for the jobs. That’s where technocrats like me come in to fix the problem. We fix the problem but you are destroying prospects.

Do you kill the patient when he is wounded?
We are heeling the patient but you want to kill the patient.

We are successful and you are not. Learn from history. Islamic Republic of Iran will be here for thousands of years. Get used to it jokers.

No one cares if a Jew Mossad agent and a dreadlock haired gherti girl in ghorbat talk crap or Ahreeman and Catayoun spew trash on net or some other yajooj majooj in IPC debate bull. You are nothing and you sum to nothing. Scream for another 40 years, who cares?

You can waste time for another 40 years or you can join our republic and build Iran like I do. Do see the light now?

You can repeat a lie 1000 times but it will still be a lie and no one will believe it. You have to convince people by logic and evidence like we do. Everything you do is dissed.

Long live Islamic Republic of Iran
