Horses of the Persian Plateau, The Glory Day’s of Savaran

Horses of the Persian Plateau
The Glory Day’s of the “Savaran”

The horses on the Persian plateau have three different breeds: the Jaff, the Afshari and the Sanjabi Kurds. These were the finest breeds of horses in the region. The Sassanian Elite Cavalry, the “Savaran.” Military unit was famous for their bravery and discipline; the Jaff, Afshari and Sanjabi Kurds were once a part of the “Savaran” unit. They served the Aryan (Iranian) nations along with other military units providing protection from the Roman/ Byzantine Empire as well as the nomad Turks in the East and the nomad Arabs in the West. Our beloved horses, with the brave Aryan solders in the defense army, served the Sassanian army very well during those many glorious days. We used to be united and strong.

The Mighty Iranian Warriors

It is significant that the Arabic word “Faris” means both the people but also a powerful man, and a mounted warrior. The later is what the Iranians, both in Iran and on the steppes of central Asia, were famous for throughout their history: their horse-riding cavalry. The Iranian cavalry, almost always members of the nobility, were the chief strength of the armed forces whenever they took the field.

Persia or Iran?
Persia or Iran? In a sense, both are correct when referring to the same entity: a middle empire that sat between the great civilizations of China and India to the east, and the Greco-Roman world to its west. The Greeks identified the first Iranian Achaemenid Empire as “Persseya” or Persia. Though the Iranians would have referred to their home as
“Eire-An” or “Ir-An” (lit. land of the Aryans).

The original Iranians were a family of peoples comprising the Medes, Persians, and the mostly extinct northern Iranians (Saka/Scythians and Sarmatians). From its very inception Iran, or Persia, has been a multilingual, multiethnic, and multi-faith nation.
The Iranian peoples are a collection of ethnic groups who speak Iranian languages and live in a vast area stretching from the Hindu Kush to central Anatolia and from Central Asia to the Persian Gulf - a region that is sometimes termed Greater Iran. Speakers of Iranian languages, however, were once found throughout Eurasia, from the Balkans to western China. As Iranian peoples are not confined to the borders of the current state of Iran, the term Iranic peoples is sometimes used to avoid confusion with the citizens of Iran.
The series of ethnic groups, which comprise the Iranian peoples, are traced to a branch of the ancient Indo-European Aryans known as the Iranians or Proto-Iranians. Archaeological finds in Russia, Central Asia and the Middle East have elucidated some scant information about the way of life of these early peoples. The Iranian peoples have played an important role throughout history: the Achaemenid Persians established one of the world's first multi-national states and the Scythian-Sarmatian nomads dominated the vast expanses of Russia and western Siberia for centuries with a group of Sarmatian warrior women possibly being the inspiration for the Greek legend of the Amazons. In addition, the various religions of the Iranian peoples, including Zoroastrianism and Manichaeism, are believed by some scholars to be important early philosophical influences on Judeo-Christianity. Early Iranian tribes were the ancestors of many peoples, including the Persians, Kurds, Pashtuns and many other smaller groups.
“The written history of Iran begins with the early Achaemenids, some 2,500 years ago, but since then till the dawn of Islam in Iran, all that is available on the Iranian history has been written by the ancient Greeks, who were then Iran's greatest enemies. So, the pre-Islamic historical sources are not completely reliable although there are indications that Greek historians often faithfully recorded the facts.

“Iranians are said to be Aryans and this is in part true. Though predominantly Aryan, they are in fact a mixture of many nations and races: the Old Asian people who lived on the Iranian plateau before the arrival of the Aryans; the Aryans who moved to the plateau mostly in the first millennium BC; and finally the descendants of the later conquerors: Arabs, Turks, and Mongols. Meanwhile, on the inner side of the Zagros Mountains, the Aryans were moving in peacefully from the north, mixing with the native Old Asians, and thus began to glimmer on the plateau the star of a great civilization. The Aryans are a branch of the people today known as the Indo-Europeans, and are believed to be the ancestors of the people of present day India, Iran, and most of Western Europe. Their language was closely related to Sanskrit and was pad of the Indo-European family of languages. On the other side of the Zagros range, meanwhile, two powerful Semitic nations prospered: Babylonia and Assyria. In 612 BC, however, suddenly the Medes, led by Cyaxares captured Nineveh and put a permanent end to the Assyrian Kingdom. Then, in 550BC, Cyrus the Great appeared in Persia and united the two kingdoms and soon subverted Babylonia and Lydia. The two nations, united by Cyrus, made up a powerful empire of "the Persians and the Medes" which, under the leadership of Cyrus grew increasingly stronger until Cyrus was killed in his last battle against nomads on the east.

In 220 AD, Ardeshir, the king of Parsa, who paid tribute to the Parthian king, revolted and in a relatively short time toppled the Parthian empire, and thus in 220 AD the Sassanian or Sassanid dynasty replaced the Parthian. And Iranian history took another turn. Rome considered these developments of little importance to the Roman Empire. But when Ardeshir attacked Armenia, Rome's ally, and even parts of the Roman empire in Mesopotamia, the Roman emperor found himself compelled to take to the battlefield, in 231 AD, and so centuries of minor disputes with the Parthians gave way to a few more centuries of fierce battles and deep enmity with the Sassanids.
There were four centuries of intensive, though intermittent, wars which finally exhausted both powers making them easy prey to Moslem Arab invaders who arrived on their Arabian horses with their curved swords and - most important of all an ideology which they expressed in their own simple, harsh, bedouin cries of "AIIah-o-Akbar", great is the one and only God. The Persian Empire collapsed suddenly; the Romans lost Syria and Egypt, two vitally important territories.
Once again the vassal overthrows the lord. The bedouin overcomes his protector. There have been many theories put forward regarding the reason why Moslem Arabs managed to conquer Iran at least the better part of it so rapidly and easily. Some point to the decadence of the late Sassanid society; some to Islam's belief in equally irrespective of race, color and social status; yet others point out that Moslems had an ideology, a strong belief to fight for, the belief that dead or alive, they would be the winners at the end of any battle fought for God. Others point the finger at the Persians' overconfidence. The reason, in fact, must be complex and may encompass almost all these factors. But ideology- belief in a God worthy of dying for- is of utmost importance and gave the Arabs great strength of heart. At the same time, the lower Persian classes, bound to their social status through a caste system irrespective of ability, could not help being mesmerized by the idea of equality, which was and is a most significant element of Islam.

With the brief history above we are going back to glorious time of the Sassaniad era. We are the people from Jaff, Afshari and Sanjabi Kurd with Sassanian origin. We used to be part of the military force of the Sassanian defense army. We served the Aryan (Iranian) nations forcefully with our beloved horses. We are the people in love with the great horses.

The time is here to claim our past and look for a better future for our beloved homeland Iran. We should wake up with our modern horses, the knowledge of our past and send back the rider of camels where ever they come from. We should be in front of the Aryan (Iranian) people liberation movement. The Aliens are in control of our people through the Islamic religion doctrine. In reality they are the Arab Imperialist agent and Arab nationalist by origin. They are controlling our people to serve them as slave, they used the religion believe to make our people serve them as slaves.

Let’s get united and start liberating our people from the false doctrines. Let’s reform Islam to be the religion of God and the worship of God only. The false Imams are lying and the majority of our people know the truth now.

God is saying in The Qur’an that all people are created equally. The only difference between humans in the eyes of the all mighty God is based upon who worships God more. The claims by the Sayed families are lies and falsehoods. Neither God nor the people love them any more, they are just politicians who are using the Islamic religion to stay in power.
The Islamic religion is going through a reform now. Please heed the call and work of many Islamic scholars and theologians below in Turkey and Egypt.
Welcome to Islamic Reformation 101 in Turkey.
The ongoing ‘hadith revision’ by a team of theologians in Ankara is an important step in reinterpreting Islam by making the distinction between what is ‘historical’ and what is ‘religious’
There was also the scholarly and tedious work carried out by a group of theologians in Ankara, supported by the Diyanet (Turkey's official religious body), to revise the “hadiths” – the words and deeds of Prophet Mohammed. “Turkey in radical revision of Islamic texts,” read the BBC's headline. “Turkey strives,” the Guardian observed, “for 21st century form of Islam.” According to the Financial Times, this was “Turkey's fresh look at Prophet.”
Are these far-fetched comments, or does the revision of hadiths by Turkey's officially sanctioned Islamic experts really point to something fundamentally important? To find an answer, one first needs to probe what the hadiths really are. And to do that, one needs to go back to the roots of Islam.
The Islamic Reformation in Egypt

First gathering of the Islamic Religious Reform conference was in Cairo, October 5-6, 2004. Many religious scholars called for reform including Jamal or Gamal el-Banna that is known in the Egyptian society as a progressive, moderate and liberal thinker. He is also a scholar who has published several books and manuscripts on various aspects of reform regarding the Islamic religion and Islam as it applies to the modern Egyptian society. Jamal is the young brother of Hassan al-Banna (October 14, 1906 – February 12, 1949) who was an Egyptian social and political reformer, best known for founding the Muslim Brotherhood or Society of the Muslim brothers.

The majority of our people know the truth now after so many years of abuse by the Sayed Government in Iran, Iraq and Lebanon. Religious reform will come to Iran quickly when our people get organized and overthrow the unjust regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
