One of Iran's Greatest Revolutionary Authors and Children Story Tellers. Samad’s metaphoric intellectual approach to children stories is unique. Samad was a teacher, educator and a social critic. His children stories were mostly based on everyday children of the street, urban and rural lives and world.
Samad Behrangi’s specialty is children stories; however, his history, social and cultural books are also very interesting and valuable too. Samad dealt with children as adults in a way that he made complicated subjects simple and easy enough for the kids to read, enjoy and understand. He did not talk down to the kids and dumbified them but he evolved them to little intellectuals. Iranians grew up with Behrangi stories!
