DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - Iranian naval vessels on Friday seized 15 British sailors and marines who had boarded a merchant ship in Iraqi waters of the Persian Gulf, British and U.S. officials said. Britain immediately protested the detentions, which come at a time of high tension between the West and Iran.

In London, the British government summoned the Iranian ambassador to the Foreign Office: "He was left in no doubt that we want them back," Britain's Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett said after the meeting.

The U.S. Navy, which operates off the Iraqi coast along with British forces, said the British sailors appeared unharmed and that Iran's Revolutionary Guard naval forces were responsible.

Britain's Defense Ministry said the British Navy personnel were "engaged in routine boarding operations of merchant shipping in Iraqi territorial waters," and had completed a ship inspection when they were accosted by the Iranian vessels. The British sailors were assigned to a task force which protects Iraqi oil terminals and maintains security in Iraqi waters under authority of the U.N. Security Council.

"We are urgently pursuing this matter with the Iranian authorities at the highest level," the ministry said.

No one could be immediately reached for comment at either government offices in Iran or at the Iranian Embassy in Baghdad. An Iranian official at the U.N. mission in New York said he was not aware of the report and could not immediately comment.
Iran is in the middle of its New Year holiday when almost all government offices close.

The U.S. Navy said the incident occurred just outside a long-disputed waterway called the Shatt al-Arab dividing Iraq and Iran. It came as the U.N. Security Council debates further sanctions against Iran over its disputed nuclear program, and amid U.S. allegations that Iran is arming Shiite militias in Iraq.

U.S. officials had expressed concern that with so much military hardware concentrated in the Persian Gulf, just such a small incident could spiral out of control and trigger a major armed confrontation.

White House press secretary Tony Snow said the Bush administration was monitoring the situation.

"The British government is demanding the immediate safe return of the people and equipment and we are keeping watch on the situation," Snow said.

The United States, Britain's chief ally, has built up its naval forces in the Gulf in a show of strength directed at Iran. Two American carriers, including the USS John C. Stennis — backed by a strike group with more than 6,500 sailors and Marines and with additional minesweeping ships — arrived in the region in recent months.

Rhetoric between Western nations and Iran has escalated in recent months.

Earlier this week, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said if Western countries "want to treat us with threats and enforcement of coercion and violence, undoubtedly they must know that the Iranian nation and authorities will use all their capacities to strike enemies that attack."

In February, President Bush said: "The Iranian people are good, honest, decent people and they've got a government that is belligerent, loud, noisy, threatening — a government which is in defiance of the rest of the world and says, 'We want a nuclear weapon.'"

The Britons were in two boats from the frigate H.M.S. Cornwall during a routine smuggling investigation, said the British Defense Ministry.

According to a statement from the U.S. Navy's Fifth Fleet, which is based in Bahrain and operates jointly with the British forces off the coast of Iraq, the British sailors had just finished inspecting the merchant ship about 10:30 a.m. "when they and their two boats were surrounded and escorted by Iranian vessels into Iranian territorial waters."

Cmdr. Kevin Aandahl of the Fifth Fleet said the British crew members were intercepted by several larger patrol boats operated by Iranian sailors belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, a radical force that operates separately from the country's regular navy.

The Iranian boats normally carry bow-mounted machine guns, while the British boarding party carried only sidearms, Aandahl said. No shots were fired and there appeared to be no physical harm done to any personnel involved or their vessels, Aandahl said.

The seizure of the British vessels, a pair of rigid inflatable boats known as RIBs, took place in long-disputed waters just outside of the mouth of the Shatt al-Arab waterway that divides Iraq from Iran, Aandahl said. A 1975 treaty gave the waters to Iraq and U.S. and British ships commonly operate there, but Aandahl said Iran disputes Iraq's jurisdiction over the waters.

"It's been in dispute for some time," Aandahl said. "We've been operating there for a couple of years and we know the lines very well. This was a compliant boarding, this happens routinely. What's out of the ordinary is the Iranian response."

Aandahl said the U.S.-led task force has touchier relations with the Revolutionary Guard, which often ignores normal maritime operating traditions, than with the regular Iranian navy.

A fisherman who said he was with a group of Iraqis from the southern city of Basra fishing in Iraqi waters in the northern area of the Gulf said he saw the Iranian seizure. The fisherman, reached by telephone by an AP reporter in Basra, declined to be identified because of security concerns.

"Two boats, each with a crew of six to eight multinational forces, were searching Iraqi and Iranian boats Friday morning in Ras al-Beesha area in the northern entrance of the Arab Gulf, but big Iranian boats came and took the two boats with their crews to the Iranian waters."

The Cornwall's commander, Commodore Nick Lambert, said the frigate lost communication with the boarding party, but a helicopter crew saw the Iranian vessels approach.

"I've got 15 sailors and marines who have been arrested by the Iranians and my immediate concern is their safety," Lambert told British Broadcasting Corp. television.

In June 2004, six British marines and two sailors were seized by Iran in the Shatt al-Arab. They were presented blindfolded on Iranian television and admitted entering Iranian waters illegally, then released unharmed after three days.

Vali Nasr, a senior fellow for Middle East Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, suggested that the latest detentions may be Iranian retaliation for the arrest of five Iranians in a U.S.-led raid in northern Iraq in January. The U.S. said the five included a Revolutionary Guards general.

"I think Iran sees this as retaliation for the arrest of their own personnel. They have repeatedly said that they want their personnel released," Nasr said. "So they are either signalling that they can do the same thing or they are trying to bring attention to it."

Well folks,

Ahmadinejad is coming to UN for hearing another round of Inaction on behalf of UN Security Council! UN Security Council is also preparing to sanction Iran. Ahmadinejad already had replied to UN proposed sanctions:

“If West sanctions Iran, they will only sanction themselves out of trades with Iran!”

“If all your ancestors (West) come back from Hell and try to aid you to sanction Iran, you will still end up doing nothing and Iran will continue with her nuclear program.”

And now IRGC, to be precise Pasdaran's Navy seizes 15 UK Marines and Seamen!

You know, Ahmadinejad is a psycho and he is not even the person in charge to make the final decisions on anything. Imam and Sepah Pasdaran are the ones to make the final decisions; however, I must say this man has balls! I admire people with balls.

Only if the cheesy Iranian opposition, susul Jujeh Monarchists, their presidents and definitely their Bi Hal Wanna be Shah had a faction of Ahmadinejad’s balls, then we would have been in a much better situation.

As you are aware of, there are a great number of Iranian Organizations and Websites whom are pro peace and anti US invasion of Iran.

Also as you know, majority of these “Iranian for Peace” Groups and Websites such as Jahanshah Javid and his Iranian.com Tabloid are front businesses for Hezbollah. Their role is to avoid the US Government to invade Iran, via influencing the public opinion to get out in the streets of America and protest against the war.

Their job is to influence the Iranian community so in return the Iranian community will influence the American community and Cindy Sheehans of America to all hold hands and sing: Cumbaya My Lord Cumbaya, in front of White House to avoid the US Administration to make a move against IRI.

You can go to these websites and see their logos for “Peace and Love” and “War is not the Answer” and other crap!

Obviously the Iranian opposition is too scattered, irrelevant or too weak and pacifist like Reza Bi Khayeh de Nim-Pahlavi and his gang o Cheesy Monarchists to either make a move themselves or allow others (by sabotage and Kar Shekani) to make a move!

People like Reza Pahlavi and his cheesy Monarchists are good for one thing:

To become Fertilizers, fertilizing Iranian barren deserts!

On the other hand, we got two types of pacifists other than cheesy Monarchists:

First we got Front Organizations for Hezbollah, Liberal Reformists and other IRI supported orgs and business in America such as Jahanshah Javid and his Tabloid Iranian.com.

Second we got the usual Liberal Democrat Iranians such as Jendeye Meli Miran (Jebhe Meli Iran) and other liberal pacifists whom are friends of IRI and Hezbollah.

So the bottom line is that all these groups, either as front businesses for Hezbollah or as Hum-Antarian (Humanitarian) orgs are a block on the way of any substantial “Change” in Iran.

Any Change is better than No Change. 28 years of stagnation is enough!

Ukrainian Example

Look at Ukraine. Russia erected a new government in Ukraine and shammed the election. Ukrainian people done a mass uprising, did not go to work, seized all government and private sector to operate and work. They brought the country to a halt in a couple of weeks. Not that they changed regime but they kicked Russia out of their business forever. Russians poisoned their opposition leader but they regained their national identity. Ukraine is a free democratic country today.

How come Iranians cannot do the same? How come Iranians cannot lift a finger to better their own situation? How come Iranians are so depressed, disappointed and discouraged to even make a move?

Can you blame them with this great opposition that we have?
We got a scattered opposition with cheeseballs like Monarchists and Mojaheds whom both are well hated inside Iran! Iranians do not even trust these people! Now forget the rest!

We need a Grass Root Nationalist Movement leading by Great Nationalists from the masses to govern Iran by the masses and for the masses.

Monarchists, Mojaheds, Marxists, Republican Jebheis, all and all had their chances and they failed miserably. They had failed Iran and Iranians. They were either in control, shared control, or helped other regimes to gain control. All and all, they are worth Shiite!

Pacifists don’t want America to invade Iran.
Hezbollah Front Businesses in America also do not want America to invade Iran.
Sissy Faggy Reza Pahlavi and his Kiss Ass Monarchists also do not want America to invade Iran.

Well I got news for all of you:

If for 28 years, all of you were incapable to make a move to overthrow IRI, then by all means, all of you should Shut The Frag up and allow United States Government to do your job or else we will remain in Exile for another 28 years!

To All Pacifists:

May they be,

Sissy Faggy Iranian versions of Cindy Sheehan
Or
Sissy Faggy Iranian Liberal Reformists
Or
Sissy Faggy Iranian Pacifist Monarchists
Or
Hezbollah’s Front Businesses in America

All of you want to hold hands, lean to the right and left in harmony, shake your heads and asses and sing Cumbaya and peace songs!

But, while you are doing your Peace Dance and sing “Give Peace a Chance” songs,

Ahreeman will dance “The Grave Dance” on top of your graves!
Ahreeman enjoys dancing on your graves!
:swingman: :ripcall:
You are as good as dead and you have been dead for 28 years, you just don’t know it yet!

Now you are asking me, what is the “Grave Dance”?

Grave Dance is kind o like “Indian Rain Dance”
:indiangirl: :rain:

except that in this version, Ahreeman dances it on your graves!

:firedvl: :ripcall:

Nothing like a good WAR hits the spot. WAR is good. WAR builds character. Iranians are becoming soft. It has been a long time since Iran-Iraq War. And no one is willing to lift a finger to make a regime change in Iran. Everyone hates IRI but no one is willing to make a move.

People like myself torn our asses up to make this crowd of deep sleepers to rise up, but no luck. So by all means let the WAR begins!

I certainly hope that this latest IRI kidnap of 15 British Marines would lead to something! For God’s sake, Bushes popularity is all time low and it cannot get worst than this! With our (GOP) cheesy candidates, it seems like we will also lose the 2008 election, so by all means, we have nothing to lose!

Let’s invade Iran full charge and try to accomplish something. Any “Change” or attempt for a “Change” is better than the present “Stagnation” which lasted us for 28 years!

So dear all Pacifists:

Keep on holding hands, singing Cumbaya and dance to the “Peace Songs” while Ahreeman dances on your graves, while he will do the “Grave Dance”!

I will grab my six pack o Cranberry Juice (closest thing to blood), my bag o microwave popcorn and sit me down on me leather couch, awaiting for the situation to get hairy. I settle for nothing less than a good bloody war. I want to see the live WAR on CNN and FOX. I want to see hands and feet and Christiane Amanpour’s nose, flying across the TV screen!
:sodapop:

Nothing like a good WAR hits the spot.
:tankii:
Damn all this talk about WAR and Blood, hell, I am getting an erection! I am also getting thirsty for blood! Let me go grab me a tall chilled glass o Cranberry Juice (closest thing to blood) to hit the spot!
:cran:

See ya @ WAR
I, The WAR Monger! :punisher:
Ain’t WAR HELL?! :devbrowed:

C'mon Folks, Give WAR a Chance, Will ya?! :firedvl:

There is no cross comparison between Post Soviet mindset , especially that of the economically deprived and CIA infiltrated USSR-satellites and Islamic Republic which has its anchor in the sole, belief, and identity of overwhelming majority of citizens, as the first has found a new god in the US-greenback, but the ladder is anchored in the rewards of an afterlife that can be far more gratifying than living and above all a compromised and submissive living.

As for those who are having wet dreams for a war and another Iraq, well wake up and change your underwear, since the west has lost QULIONS for instigating another regime change in the middle east that can cost far far more blood and treasure than the Iraq and Afghanistan which pursuits have failed and are geared to be dropped as a function of time, as the mindset of the West simply is, “ Lets call it victory and bale out, since we had no business liberating the sand niggers”!

However, if uranium enrichment bears fruit in Iran, then cruise bunker busting missile will fly, but that prospect will never materialize since Islamic leadership knows when to compromise, as their beliefs and doctrines mandate self preservation for a stronger day.

Per generosity of our beloved leader, Mr. Ahmadinegad, all Treacherous British Spies. after full voluntary confessions, are fed, dressed, accommodated to the fullest like honored guests, and are released to freedom.

May this generous gesture warm the cold harts and soles of the infidels.

15 British Marines/Seamen Disgraced the British Military
Ahreemanic Analysis of The Present Situation

Now that we have done our Nowruz House Cleaning and cleansed this House O Evil from the 28 years old Dead Corps of Nechro-Monarchists and dumped them in the faded abyss o history where they belong, we can move on and look towards the “Future” and start building the Iran of future, starting from right here and from this point of history.
 :steamroller: :restpeace:

Let us move on and look towards the future and allow the past to rest in peace in the cemetery.

Let us forget the dead Nechro-Monarchists and celebrate the Living! Time awaits for no one and Evolution has no heart. Now I am going to make my first analysis in the neo Nechro-Monarchist Free IPC.

Allow me to talk about the British Navy and Marines Hostage Situation. Here is my input,

When a real soldier gets arrested as a prisoner of war, he shall only reveal his name, rank and serial number. Of course there are exceptions to this rule such as:

I. :chadori: Many Iranian Imperial Generals and High Ranking Officers on 1941 (Allies Occupation), 1953 (Mosadeqist Occupation) and 1979 (IRI Occupation) whom threw down their arms and uniforms, wore “Chadors” and fled the battle scenes in to hiding and even exile. These brave Imperial Generals and Officers did not even get to the point of singing their names, ranks and serial numbers during the arrests, because they had never gotten arrested at the first place!

II. :gay: Royal British Marines and Navy Seamen who get arrested by IRGC and right away start singing their life story. Not that they sign “Goh Khordn Nameh” and eat Shiite by confessions, yet they also apologize for crossing into Iranian waters! They even condemn Bush and Blair! Then they get fed Chlo Polo and Kabobs with Nun Lavash, given brand new suits, meet the president and have a grand vacation on the expense of the Iranian TaxPayers in Tehran! Once they were released, they moped and cried and claimed torture, bad treatment, isolations and even stated that they were only given polo khali and flat bread to eat and even these little food where given to them, only when IRIB were filming them! These faggots knew better that the global public opinion condemns them for their unsoldier-like behavior and for selling out to IRI, so right away they jumped the high horse to scream victims and torture subjects! A Bunch o British Faggots and Pussies! Pansy ass faggots.

British Marines my ass! English are a bunch o sissy faggy touchy feely gay boys, well maybe except James, and that is even to be seen in the future (Riot)!
:UK: :gay:

God damn English! How did they rule the world in 18th and 19th century? What a shame!

The fact is that due to the behavior of these 15 pansies, the mighty prestige of the British Marines and Navy has been ruined forever! Can we really call these people soldiers? They are disgrace to the profession of military and militarism. They are almost as bad as Imperial Generals and Officers of 1941, 1953 and 1979.

Well, can you blame them? Both groups were serving Monarchies. Both groups disgraced their nations and profession of military. Reza Khan would never surrender to allies but how could he fight with these faggots?

I promise you if 15 IRGC Commandos were arrested by the British, they would have never spilled any beans! Only names, ranks and Serial numbers, that’s all. Why you ask? Because these people are having fundamental beliefs and they will never bend over and crack under any pressure.

That is why I rather have ruthless enemies (Sepah Pasdaran) to battle, than to have weak coward friends (Nechro-Monarchists) to fight alongside.

:shooting: :king:
 :pasdar:

Death before disgrace
Thus spake Ahreeman

Amen
