Friends at AWTI sent us an e-mail and mentioned an amazing price comparison. Allow me to share it with you:

At 2525 PIY (Persian Imperial Year) AKA 1966:

Price of 1 Paykan Automobile = Tooman 14,000
Price of 2 Paykan Automobiles = Tooman 28,000

At 2571 PIY AKA 2012:

Price of 1 Kilogram of Meat = Tooman 28,000

Why PIY (Persian Imperial Year) Calendar? ... /index.htm

So today’s price of 1 Kilo of meat in IRI (Islamic Republic of Iran) equals the price of 2 Paykan automobiles in the Imperial Iran!

Of course back then:

At 1978
$ 1 = Tooman 7
And we were complaining why? We believed that $ 1 should be Tooman 1.
We demanded that:
$ 1 = Tooman 1
Iranian money simply had to be equal to Dollar.
We did not know that a day would come (today), that:
$ 1 = Tooman 2,435

And at 1978 they used to scream “Death to the Shah”!
And at 2012 some still scream “Death to the Shah”!
Are you familiar with the term:
“Eat Shiite and Die”?!
The majority of those who screamed “Death to the Shah” on 1978,
Today have eaten “Shiite” yet are still alive!
Of course if you call living in IRI, “Life”!
What goes around, comes around!

I was not a monarchist then and I am not a monarchist now.
I have always been a great critic of the Shah.
In 1977 and in 1978, at the age of 15 and 16, my comrades and I were fighting and rumbling street to street with the Islamists and Hezbollah. Why you ask?

Because we knew even in the tender early teen years of what will be awaiting for Iran if the Islamists would take over!

Islamists would write slogans on the walls and we were painting over them and writing insults to Khomeini and Islam.

I was never a monarchist but I was always a hardcore nationalist.

Back then, I was such a hot head that my parents practically kicked me out of Iran and shipped me to America so I would not end up dead in the streets of Tehran by the hands of Hezbollah!

Today, history repeats. 3 generations later, the youth hates IRI and Islam. Eventually Iran will become a Time Bomb ready to explode. I surely don’t want to be in IRI’s shoes, ……..
We have wasted so much time!
33 + years of time!
Motherland destroyed
Garbage of Islam replaced the progressive Imperial Iran
Land of Persians have become a Shiite Hole
And we regressed back to Medieval Ages

Imperial Iran was flawed but it was reformable.
This is what Hoveyda (my Godfather) and my mother believed.
But IRI is a disease and it is not reformable!

Orchid Man – Amir Abbas Hoveyda ... /index.htm

But of course everywhere Islam went; it has left a legacy of Stench, Shiite and Bull Shiite!
This is why Islamic Countries are full of Bull Shiite (literary and in people’s heads)!

“Har ja Eslam raft, por-e Goh O Gand O Kesafat shod!”

Unfortunately Islam also invaded and occupied the Persian Empire and had turned Iran to a Shiite Hole!

Yes, today’s Iranians are not yesterday’s Persians (if you know what I mean)!

However I can see the horizon ….

Soon things will change and IRI will be overthrown,
Shah is dead
Iran is dead
Dreams are dead
Persians are dead
The Hope is dead.

Maybe one day soon, with the proper vision,

IRI will die and Iran will live again!
Like a Phoenix, arises from the ashes of Islam, Iran will rise again ….

Maybe one day soon …..

Iran will be born again.

On January 1st, 1979 Iran died and I seized being an Iranian.
Maybe one day soon, once more,
Iran will live again and I will become an Iranian again!
One day soon …..

Now for your own sake, go and review:

The Dog who saw The Rainbow! ... /index.htm

How had the Persians died?!

Pure Persian Pride
