Guys, IRI cut off the Internet in critical places in Iran. In many key points, people are cut off, so they can’t connect and plan protests. We can’t contact many cells in Iran. It is getting bad, when they cut off the net. Mullahs are worried.

Yes, when things get hot, Mullahs crap their robe and cut off the net so they cut off the communication of the resistance. Soon or late something got to give. They can’t oppress the people forever.

Systems of Communication with Iran Cells Without Net

Systems of Communication with Iran Cells Without Net

Activists pay attention

In 1979, Khomeini did not have Internet or mobile to transfer his message to the people. He used cassette tapes from Paris and messengers to spread the word. He successfully overthrown the Imperial Regime. The problem with opposition today is too much dependency to technology.

We don’t need Internet and mobiles to organize protests in Iran, make connection with Iran, send messages to Iran, and successfully get results from these connections.

We can use land lines and send coded messages which can be encrypted in Iran. We can send complete instructions and directions by messengers, we can relay messages to the borders in Pakistan, Turkey and Iraq. From there, they can send them to Iran.

We have many ways of spreading the word to Iran. We need to teach opposition to go back to old school and stop its dependency to technology.

Regime cuts off internet, so what? We are going to sit here and wonder what to do? People, we must be creative and use intelligence and critical thinking to come up with new methods. Every time the Regime comes up with a tactic, we must and we can counter it.

Regime cannot win this war. We are smarter and wiser. The odds are on our side, people are fed up and we have the solution. There is always a way. Stand strong in the face of the regime.

Protests are not dead. The fire is still burning under the ashes. The fight will continue until Islamic Republic is gone.

Iran: Deadly Repression of Khuzestan Protests
Hundreds Arrested; At Least 9 Deaths, Including a Child

The rising death toll and mass arrests raise grave concerns about the Iranian authorities’ response to recent protests in Khuzestan and other provinces, Human Rights Watch said today.

The authorities should immediately and unconditionally release peaceful protesters, provide information about deaths, and allow an independent international investigation into security agencies’ alleged use of lethal force. All those responsible for abuses should be held to account.

“The Iranian political leaders’ primary response to widespread demands for basic rights has been unchecked repression,” said Tara Sepehri Far, Iran researcher at Human Rights Watch. “Only a transparent investigation into the deaths of protesters, holding security forces accountable for wrongdoing, and a commitment to address long-term grievances can begin to address the local population’s loss of trust in the authorities.”

Since July 15, 2021, Iranians have protested deteriorating living conditions in Khuzestan and several other provinces, including Isfahan, Lorestan, Eastern Azerbaijan, Tehran, and Karaj. As of July 28, human rights groups have verified the identities of at least nine people who were shot dead or died of injuries during the protests, including a 17-year-old boy, in Khuzestan and Lorestan provinces. Iranian government officials have announced the death of three protesters and a police officer during the protests. Videos shared on social media from protests in cities in Khuzestan show security officials shooting firearms and teargas toward protesters.

On July 15, people in dozens of towns and cities in Khuzestan province, which has a large ethnic Arab population, took to the streets for several nights to protest not having clean water for days. Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) identified six victims and at least 171 people arrested during the protests. Unconfirmed reports indicate the number of deaths and arrests may be higher. Amnesty International and Radio Zamaneh news outlet have published the names of three more people who were killed during the protests.

On July 21, Ali Shamkhani, the secretary of Iran’s national security council, wrote on his Twitter account that the authorities have ordered the release of those arrested during the protests in Khuzestan “who have not committed any criminal act.” On July 25, Mizan News, the judiciary’s news agency, reported that Gholamhossein Ejeyi, the head of Iran’s judiciary, had ordered the Khuzestan courts to release those arrested for protesting and a review of those convicted for the November 2019 protests, which began over gasoline prices and transformed into a broader expression of popular discontent with the government’s repression and perceived corruption. Human Rights Watch has extensively documented that Iran’s judiciary regularly uses vaguely defined national security charges to prosecute peaceful dissent and subjects detainees to mistreatment, torture, and unfair trials.

Under the United Nations Basic Principles on the Use of Force and Firearms by Law Enforcement Officials, police may use force only when strictly necessary and to the extent required to achieve a legitimate policing objective. The deliberate use of lethal force is permissible only when it is strictly necessary to protect life, and warnings should be given when possible. The authorities should promptly report and investigate all incidents of law enforcement officials killing or wounding people with firearms through an independent administrative or prosecutorial process.

Over the past four years, Iranian authorities have responded to widespread protests with increasingly excessive and lethal force, mass arrests, and internet shutdowns. In November 2019, in one of most brutal crackdowns, security forces used excessive and unlawful lethal force against massive protests across the country. Amnesty International reported that at least 304 people were killed. Iranian authorities said that 230 people were killed, but have failed to conduct any transparent investigation into serious allegations of unlawful use of force by security officials and instead prosecuted protesters in unfair trials.

Human Rights Watch reiterates its previous calls on the member countries of the United Nations Human Rights Council to establish a UN-led inquiry into alleged serious rights violations during and in the aftermath of the widespread protests.

There are longstanding concerns across Iran, and Khuzestan in particular, over mismanagement of water resources and pollution from oil development. For decades environmental experts have warned that development projects in oil-rich Khuzestan, including the construction of hydroelectric dams, irrigation schemes, and water transfers to neighboring provinces, are causing environmental harm and leading to water shortages affecting a range of people’s rights.

“Crises of government incompetence, repression, and impunity are converging in Iran, harming and immiserating millions of Iranians every day,” Sepehri Far said.

People killed during the protests:

Mostafa Naeemavi, 30, in Shadegan, Khuzestan, on July 16, 2021, according to state affiliated outlets including Fars News.

Ghassem Nasseri (Khozeiri), in Kut-e Abdollah, Khuzestan. Injured on July 16, 2021, and died at the hospital on July 17, according to state affiliated outlets including Fars News.

Hadi Bahmani, 17, in Izeh, Khuzestan, on July 22, 2021, according to HRANA and Radio Zamaneh.

Hamzeh (Farzad) Fereisat, 32, in Ahvaz, Khuzestan, on July 20, 2021, according to HRANA and Radio Zamaneh.

Omid Azarkhosh, in Aligudarz, Lorestan. Injured on July 18, 2021, and died at the hospital on July 21, according to HRANA and state affiliated outlets including Fars News.

Meysam Achrash, in Taleghani town, Khuzestan, on July 22, 2021, according to HRANA.

Isa Baledi, 27, in Taleghani town, on July 21, 2021, according to Amnesty International and Radio Zamaneh.

Mehdi Chanani, in Shoush, Khuzestan, according to Amnesty International.

Hamid Mojadam (Jokari), in Chamran Town, Khuzestan, according to Amnesty International.

Mullahs’ Dark Future

Postby IPC » Tue Aug 03, 2021 6:44 am

Mullahs’ Dark Future

If Islamic Republic of Iran assumes that by tactics such as shutting down Internet, electricity and water, or by mass suppression of the protesters using foreign mercenaries from the foreign legion of the IRGC from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Arabs, can burn out the flame of the unstoppable revolution, Mullahs are dead wrong. Mullahs cannot fix the Iran’s problems such as economic, social, human rights and civil issues. Suppression will not work and it did not work so far. People will not stop the protests and revolts. This is only the silence before the next storm. Soon or late Mullahs and Hezbollah will be doomed to depth of hell. This is not a threat; it is a promise. Unlimited oil dollars, Iran natural resources and even Iran Lobby in America cannot save you.

Iranian Women Must Take Off Hejab & Rush the Streets

Iranian Women Must Take Off Hejab & Rush the Streets
Hejab is Symbol of Islamic Slavery!

Image

Image

With a calculated plan in harmony with each other in major cities across Iran, sparked by our cells and opposition cells, all women must take off hejab and rush the streets. What can Hezbollah do? Arrest all women? They have no room in prisons!

I understand it is easier said than done. I also understand many women who participated in Hejab Take Offs (Kashf-e Hejab) in Enghelab Street and hanging their white hejabs on sticks standing on columns got 20 years prison terms and most had to fled Iran; however, today, Iran is reaching a boiling point. A third of the people in one of the world’s riches nations with unlimited resources of everything are living in poverty. People are fed up. Women must lead. Many women always lead.

In Georgia, in one day, everyone rushed the streets, did strike and did not work. Government collapsed. Are Iranians less than our Georgian brothers and sisters?

Women are responsible. It is women who enable the Muslim male chauvinist pigs to bully them, punch them, slap them and yell at them for not wearing hejab. It is women who enable the Muslim men to have double standards, hejab for women but 4 permanent wives and unlimited temporary wives for men! It is women who emphasize on chastity for women but whorish behavior for men! Women must also lead to break all the taboos.

In 1930s Reza Shah done Kashf-e Hejab, now we went backward in history and the most illiterate social class of Iran, the Mullahs rule Iran. Hejab is back and it is strong. It is the Female Moral Police (Zeynab Sisters) who enforce hejab to other women! Even women outside Iran, have Shiite Islamic mentality and cover themselves, sometimes possibly with hejab! It is women who must change their backward mentality. It is women who must lead the revolution.

Hejab is a symbol of slavery for women.
Break all Islamic Symbols

Communist Democrats and Muslim Mullahs Bed Buddies

Postby Shahrzad BB » Fri Aug 06, 2021 9:42 am

Communist Democrats and Muslim Mullahs Bed Buddies
:B
It is not beneficial for the Democrats to be in solidarity with the Iranian people, Cuban people, Venezuelan people, Nicaraguan people and North Korean people, because these people are fighting for freedom and democracy. These people are fighting Islam and Communism.

Democrats are a group of Socialist and Communists with some Muslims amongst them, so how can they support the fight against Communism and Islam? Democrats are trying to turn America to a communist country following China’s model. Democrats are aligned with the Cuban, Venezuelan, Nicaraguan, North Korean and surely with the Mullahs. Democrats are always appeasing or in collusion with the Mullahs and Muslims.

Trump was with the Iranian people and in support of the Iranian Opposition, but the Socialist Democrats and the Big Tech stole the election from him!

We need to not only free Iran but also to free America.

Iran prisons chief apologizes over leaked videos of Evin abuse

BBC
https://www.bbc.com/

The head of Iran's prison service has apologized after hackers leaked videos showing the abuse of detainees at Tehran's notorious Evin prison.

The hackers released security footage showing guards beating prisoners and dragging one along a floor.

On Tuesday, Prisons Organization chief Mohammad Mehdi Haj-Mohammadi said he took responsibility for the "unacceptable behavior".

Many political prisoners and dual and foreign nationals are held at Evin.

BBC Persian's Jiyar Gol says the leaked videos confirm decades of reports of mistreatment and abuse at prisons across Iran.

However, our correspondent adds, former political prisoners say the footage is nothing compared to what they experienced in detention. They accuse authorities of routinely using sexual, physical and psychological torture - a charge Iran's government denies.

The surveillance footage released by a hacking group called Edalat-e Ali (Ali's Justice) shows several guards beating a man in handcuffs, as well as a fight between a guard and another man in uniform.

In another video, an elderly man is seen collapsing in a car park before guards approach and begin dragging him along the floor through the prison. At one point, a Muslim cleric steps over the man as he lies in a stairwell.

Other footage shows guards at Evin's control room reacting as the phrase "cyber-attack" appears in Persian on screens in front of them.

The hacked screens also show a message reading: "Evin Prison is a stain of shame on Raisi's black turban and white beard" - a reference to Iran's new president, who is a hardline cleric and former judiciary chief.

On Tuesday, Mr Haj-Mohammadi apologised publicly to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the country for the abuses seen in the videos.

"I accept responsibility for such unacceptable behaviour and pledge to try to prevent any repeat of these bitter events and to deal seriously with the wrongdoers," he tweeted.

Iran’s Next Foreign Minister Shows Support for Middle Eastern Terror Groups

Iran Focus
https://www.iranfocus.com/en/

The Iranian regime’s incoming foreign minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian has once again confessed his support of terrorism regarding the regime’s foreign policy.

In a session of the Majlis (parliament) last Sunday, Abdollahian, who has been nominated and destined for the Foreign Minister position in the administration of the regime’s new president, Ebrahim Raisi, professed his support of the ‘resistance front’, the name used by the mullahs’ clerical regime to refer to their many proxies’ terrorist groups, based across the Middle East region.

The regime is currently funding, training, and providing logistics support to more than a dozen terrorist groups in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen.

Abdollahian had made his comments in a speech during the meeting of the parliament, as officials were showing their support towards his appointment to his new role as Raisi’s top diplomat. His will to push terrorist policies comes as no surprise, considering his close relationship with the former leader of the IRGC’s Quds Force and the mastermind behind the regime’s terrorist activities, Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in January 2020 during a drone attack in Iraq.

He previously held the role of Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs under the previous administration, so he is no stranger to the regime’s policies.

Amir Abdollahian has a long history of enabling the regime’s terrorist policies in Iraq and other countries of the region. And he makes no secret of his ties to the regime’s terrorism apparatus.

Abdollahian announced, in an earlier meeting with the parliament’s culture commission, that he ‘cooperated with Soleimani in the foreign policy domain’ and that he will ‘continue Soleimani’s path’.

The regime’s diplomacy is closely controlled by the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and its foreign terror arm the Quds Force, a fact that regime officials have made no secret of.

The former Foreign Minister of the regime, Mohammad Javad Zarif highlighted in a recent interview that the regime’s foreign policy is heavily dominated by IRGC and that 98 percent of the diplomatic achievements, regarding the regime, were attained by the Quds Force and, specifically, Soleimani himself.

Hassan Rouhani, the regime’s former president spoke at a cabinet meeting on April 8, 2021, seemingly confirming that the regime’s diplomacy is based around terrorism. He said that from his 32-year experience in the Supreme National Security Council, ‘the frontline and diplomacy are two arms’ of the mullahs’ regime. During his speech, Rouhani went on to say, “If anyone believes that either the frontline of the negotiations must-win, then I must say that their words are incorrect.”

Many of the regime’s senior diplomats and embassy staff were members of the Quds Force and reported to Soleimani, including Assadollah Assadi, a Vienna-based diplomat who is currently serving 20 years in prison for a failed attempt to bomb a major rally of the Iranian resistance in France in 2018.

Iran's Next Foreign Minister: A Diplomat With An 'IRGC Attitude'

RFE
https://www.rferl.org/

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian's nomination hints at plans by Raisi to focus on Tehran's neighborhood and a potential lack of interest in serious engagement with the West, analysts say.

Some say the next Iranian foreign minister's views are as hawkish as the fiercest hard-line elements within Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and that improving relations with Western countries will be difficult.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian's selection as Tehran's top diplomat appears to present myriad challenges to already deeply frayed relations in the Middle East and beyond, amplifying a hard-line consolidation with the new presidency of Ebrahim Raisi.

But analysts of Iran's foreign policy establishment suggest Amir-Abdollahian's conservative credentials could also boost clarity on a handful of key international questions, from talks to revive a hobbled nuclear deal to confronting Iran's persistent efforts to project strength in the region.

Amir-Abdollahian is a senior diplomat and foreign policy adviser to the speaker of Iran's parliament who enjoys the support of the powerful IRGC. Most observers expect a parliament dominated by fellow hard-liners to confirm his nomination, which was submitted along with the rest of Raisi's cabinet on August 11.

No Interest In Warmer Ties?

The appointment comes at a sensitive time.

Talks in Vienna aimed at reviving the 2015 nuclear deal abandoned by U.S. President Donald Trump have stalled amid the transition of power in Tehran, while tensions have increased between Iran, Israel, and Western powers in the Persian Gulf, where Tehran has been accused of organizing a deadly drone attack on a commercial tanker and of hijacking another vessel.

The 57-year-old Amir-Abdollahian is suspicious of the West and a vocal supporter of the so-called "axis of resistance" against Israel. As deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs from 2011 to 2016, he helped implement regional policies enforced by the IRGC's Quds Force, whose commander was assassinated in a U.S. drone strike in January 2020. He was also involved in historic but largely failed talks in Baghdad in 2007 with U.S. officials on efforts to stabilize Iraq.

Amir-Abdollahian's nomination hints at plans by Raisi to focus on Iran's Middle Eastern neighborhood and a potential lack of interest in serious engagement with the West, analysts say.

During Raisi's August 5 inauguration ceremony, representatives of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Lebanese Hizballah -- groups blacklisted by the United States and the European Union -- were seated in the front row, while senior EU diplomat and nuclear mediator Enrique Mora was conspicuously seated behind them.

"Amir-Abdollahian's nomination also reflects Raisi's narrow focus on the region and disinterest in improving political or economic ties with the West," Henry Rome, a senior Iran analyst at the Eurasia Group in Washington, told RFE/RL.

Greater Clarity, At Least

But Raisi, who observers say owes his rise to power to his loyalty to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, also vowed at his inauguration to support diplomacy aimed at removing the U.S. sanctions that have crippled Iran's economy.

"Sanctions against the nation of Iran must be lifted. We will support any diplomatic plans that will realize this goal," Raisi said.

Outgoing President Hassan Rouhani -- a relative moderate whose team successfully completed the original 2015 nuclear agreement trading curbs on certain nuclear activities for sanctions relief -- reportedly complained recently in Vienna that his government lacked the authority to reach a deal.

Six rounds into the negotiations with world powers and indirect talks with the United States aimed at resuscitating the accord, the fate of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) seemingly hangs in the balance.

In reaction to Washington's exit from the deal in 2018, Iran has gradually decreased its JCPOA commitments while ratcheting up sensitive nuclear work. But some believe Raisi and his team could be in a better position to renegotiate the deal due to their full alignment with Khamenei, who has the last say in all state affairs in the country.

Ali Vaez, director of the Iran project at the International Crisis Group think tank, told RFE/RL that while dealing with Amir-Abdollahian is likely to prove difficult for Western countries, the hard-line diplomat could be in a better position to follow through on progress.

"Amir-Abdollahian's views on the West are as hawkish as the hard-line elements within the Revolutionary Guards," Vaez said. "That renders him a more difficult interlocutor for the West but a more capable one, as he will face much less internal resistance to his initiatives as his predecessor did."

'Revolutionary Diplomat'

Amir-Abdollahian, who will replace the U.S.-educated Mohammad Javad Zarif, has a doctorate in international affairs from Tehran University and is said to be fluent in Arabic, while his English appears to be limited.

Praised by hard-liners as a "revolutionary diplomat," he has boasted in media interviews of his close ties to assassinated Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani. "Whenever I was involved in sensitive and important negotiations about the region, the last person I consulted with was General Soleimani," he said in a recent interview with the semiofficial Fars news agency.

Such consultations with Soleimani would allow him to enter talks "with full hands," he said.

"Amir-Abdollahian will bring an IRGC attitude to the top of the Foreign Ministry," analyst Rome said. "He is steeped in Arab politics and has spent much of his diplomatic career implementing or defending Iran's aggressive regional policy -- and he will continue doing so as foreign minister."

He has risen politically against a backdrop of friction not just over the nuclear deal but also with Iran helping to defend Syrian President Bashar al-Assad during that country's brutal civil war, which drew other foreign powers into the fighting.

"Most regional states remember Amir-Abdollahian's tone and attitude during the Syrian crisis and associate him with Iran's power projection in the region," Vaez said. "If he is to rectify that image he needs to strike a much more conciliatory tone and match it with confidence-building measures."

A 'New Balance'

Raisi has said that he aims to improve ties with neighbors in what appears to be a signal to Iran's regional rival, Saudi Arabia. Those two countries have been engaged in recent months in talks aimed at curbing tensions in the region.

Yet both Raisi and Amir-Abdollahian have been vague about Iran's foreign policy approach or any expected shift.

In a June interview with the Italian daily La Repubblica, Amir-Abdollahian said the Americans still had not proven they are serious in the negotiations and that "the mistakes" of the past will not be repeated. It appeared to be a thinly veiled reference to Trump's withdrawal from the JCPOA and his reimposition of economic sanctions that have ravaged Iran's currency and economy.

"Returning to the JCPOA agreement is in the Iranian national interest as long as the counterparties respect their commitments," Amir-Abdollahian said.

He also suggested that Raisi would work to find a balance in ties with the East and the West.

Amir-Abdollahian said Rouhani's government had prioritized ties with the United States and the West, while Khamenei had urged him to pay greater attention to different regions around the world.

"I believe that Dr. Raisi will find a new balance," Amir-Abdollahian said. "This does not mean that we do not want to pay attention to Europe and the West."

Toomaj Knows that Democrats & Mullahs are Best of Friends

Toomaj sings about Iran, Iranian people suffering under the Mullah’s Regime, IRI-China Dirty Deals, IRI-Democrats Dirty Deals, Iran Lobby in USA, hungry people, poor people, abused people, murdered people, jailed people and free Iran.

Toomaj Salehi the Iranian popular rapper musician has been in and out of jail for singing rap songs! Iran Lobby Agents in USA have been repeatedly attacking Toomaj because Toomaj have been exposing Iran Lobby Agents in his songs. Iran Lobbyists claim that they are pacifists and against Toomaj’s violence preached against the IRI Regime!

Toomaj sings about people and their struggle against the Inhuman Islamist Regime but the Iran Lobby in USA is solid behind the Islamist Regime of Iran and the Democrat Socialist Regime in America. Democrat politicians have been on Iran Lobby’s payroll for decades.

Elahé Sharifpour Hicks, Negar Mortazavi, Assal Rad and other IRI Iran Lobby Agents take sides against Toomaj, by posting bloody rubbish on social media that they are against violence and Toomaj promotes violence against the regime!

Iran Lobbyists are against violence to free Iran but they are pro stealing elections in Iran by Raisi and stealing elections in America by Biden! Those bloody pig bastards are pacifists when it suits them!

Iran Lobby in USA is the solid supporter of the Mullahs Regime in Iran, Chinese Communist Regime & surely, they are servants of the Democrat’s Regime in America. Iran Lobby Agents are on the payroll of both IRI and George Soros!

In today’s America, Iran Lobby money finances Democrat politicians to steal elections and in return Democrats make nuclear deals with Mullahs of Iran. Stay tuned for the Corrupt Biden and Murderer Raisi’s up and coming nuke deal!

Toomaj Poem Clips

“Here people are only alive.
They don’t have a life.
Our children sleep hungry at night.
Excuse me, but how does your conscience sleep at night?”

(Rapper Toomaj Salehi)

“Yes, yes, sir.
Life is normal.
We don’t want our rights, let it be a crime.
Sir, have you seen the underlings?
The empty tables?
You have so much light.
Have you seen the dark city?
We are the dead who can’t think of dying,
Cause we don’t have money for burials and tombstones.”

(Rapper Toomaj Salehi)

'We Are The Dead Who Can't Think Of Dying':
Iranian Rapper Charged For Criticizing Regime

RFE

Songs by Iranian rapper Toomaj Salehi protest against corruption, widespread poverty, state executions, and the killing of protesters. His lyrics highlight the widening gap between ordinary Iranians and the country’s leadership.

With lyrics that criticize Iran’s Islamic establishment -- condemning state repression and injustice -- rapper Toomaj Salehi has gained fans among Iranians who are angry at the country’s leadership.

His lyrics also have upset Iranian authorities, who ordered his arrest earlier this month.

Salehi was aware that he could be targeted by the Iranian regime for his lyrics. Days before his arrest, he wrote on Twitter that he was being monitored and risked the wrath of Iranian security agents.

On September 13, a dozen security agents arrived at Salehi’s home in the central Iranian city of Isfahan and took him to an unknown location, according to his relatives.

The rapper was released on bail on September 21 amid widespread condemnation of his arrest by his supporters and by rights groups.

Amnesty International said that Salehi was targeted “solely for exercising his right to freedom of expression.”

https://twitter.com/AmnestyIran/status/ ... 73007.html

In an online video posted after his release, Salehi said he was overwhelmed by the support he has received while he was in custody.

“I just wanted to thank all of you for having been my voice. When I was [in detention], I kept wondering who was even thinking about me right now. But when I was [released], I realized [that I had been wrong],” he said.

Thanking his supporters, Salehi promised to he would speak more with his fans in the future.

“I broke my cell phone during the arrest. We’ll speak when I get a new one later,” he said in the video.

https://twitter.com/Patriot_Reports/sta ... 73007.html

Salehi did not provide details about his arrest or the charges he faces.

Earlier this week, Salehi’s lawyer said the rapper was charged with “spreading propaganda against the state.” It is a vague charge often brought against activists, intellectuals, and dissenters that Iran's clerical establishment wants to silence.

Attorney Amir Raeisian told the news site Rouydad24 on September 20 that the charge had been “informally” announced to Salehi’s father.

Salehi has gained notoriety for lyrics that rail against corruption, widespread poverty, state executions, and the killing of protesters in Iran.

His songs also highlight the widening gap between ordinary Iranians and the country’s leadership, accusing authorities of “suffocating” the people without regard for their well-being.

His angry lyrics resonate among Iranians who are increasingly discontent and alienated by Iran’s clerical establishment -- and by the politicians who fail to keep their promises of change.

Salehi has shared his songs on his Instagram and Twitter accounts. But those accounts became inaccessible while he was in custody.

In one song called Normal, he refers to Iran's troubled economy, which has been crushed by U.S. sanctions and years of mismanagement.

Rapping in the Farsi language, he says:

“Here people are only alive. They don’t have a life. Our children sleep hungry at night. Excuse me, but how does your conscience sleep at night?”

Many Iranians blame the country’s leadership for economic pains that include high inflation and rising food prices.

Many are also angry at the lack of accountability over the state’s November 2019 crackdown on anti-establishment protesters. Several hundred people were killed in that crackdown, including children.

Iranians also are angry about the January 2020 downing of a Ukrainian passenger jet by Iran’s military that killed 176 people.

Normal by rapper Toomaj Salehi:

Salehi sings:

“Yes, yes, sir. Life is normal. We don’t want our rights, lest it be a crime. Sir, have you seen the underlings? The empty tables? You have so much light. Have you seen the dark city? We are the dead who can’t think of dying 'cause we don’t have money for burials and tombstones.”

In his latest song, titled Rathole, Salehi criticizes Iranian journalists, artists, and others -- both within and outside of the country. He suggests they are complicit and enable the Iranian regime when they turn a blind eye to its human rights abuses. He tells them to “hide in a rathole.”

“If you saw people’s pain and closed your eyes, if you saw oppression of innocents and just walked by, if you did it out of fear or for your own gain, you’re an ally of the tyrant, a criminal just the same. Without your cover-ups, this system’s incomplete. Iran has enough prisons to hold all of you.”

Salehi also uses vulgarities to criticize the Iranian regime’s ties with Russia and China, including a 25-year cooperation agreement between Tehran and Beijing that many Iranians describe as selling out to China.

Salehi raps:

“Haven’t you suffocated us enough? Haven’t you played us long enough? Haven’t you f***ed us over enough? Haven’t you robbed us enough? Now, you want to give half to China and the rest to Russia.”

Many Iranians used social media to protest Salehi’s arrest and to call for his release.

https://twitter.com/sepideqoliyan/statu ... 73007.html

Self-exiled Iranian dissident rapper Hichkas, known by fans as the father of Persian rap, told more than 300,000 of his followers on Twitter that Salehi is “defying the Islamic Republic” as “the voice of his people suffering under the Islamic Republic’s rule.”

https://twitter.com/HichkasOfficial/sta ... 73007.html

Iran has a record of targeting artists and intellectuals that don’t follow the official line and touch on topics deemed as sensitive.

Most Iranian rappers publish their music without approval from Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the branch of the regime that regulates artistic work and enforces strict censorship rules.

Several rappers have been detained in recent years, while others have chosen to live in exile.

Last year, the popular and controversial Iranian rapper Tataloo was detained in Turkey after Interpol issued a “red alert” notice for him on the basis of an Iranian arrest warrant.

Tataloo had been critical of Iranian authorities. He was later released by Turkey.

Iranian police said the country’s judicial authorities requested Tataloo’s arrest “for encouraging citizens, especially young people, to use drugs, especially psychotropic drugs, and for spreading corruption.”

IRI Made Drought and Iran Protests
Iran’s Problem is Not Drought But Islam!

Drought Under Microscope

Iran’s problem is not drought but it is what causes the drought and what causes the drought is surely not the global warming and climate change fantasy, fabricated by the liberal socialists to control the world via globalism, and by the Chinese Communists to destroy the western economies and expand their own economy! What cause the drought in Iran is the Islamic Regime of IRI and the reason that the IRI cannot fix the drought problem is because IRI does not hire intelligent experts, technocrats and informed agricultural engineers to solve the problem but like every other field, IRI hires employees due to ideological reasons; so instead of hiring the brains to solve the problem, IRI hires Hezbollahi morons and braindead Islamists solely because they are Islamists!
