Why Shiva Bagheri Rocks?!
Shiva Bagheri is an Iranian American fitness model, fitness competitor, fitness choreographer, personal trainer, professional dancer, dance instructor, body builder and kick boxer! Now I surely know that this girl can kick your ass from here all the way to Tehran! I just love tough athletic girls! Shiva Bagheri is a competitive athlete, awesome dance instructor, great choreographer and an amazing fitness model. Shiva Rocks!
Shiva has a background in gymnastics, ballet, tap and jazz dance going back as far as age 9. In early years, Shiva was a competitive gymnast with SCATS school. She was home schooled since she was 13 years old. During this period, skillful choreographers and instructors trained her. Shiva is a Handworker and practices until she drops.
At age 15 she got her first professional gig as a chorus dancer at The LA Music Center for an opera named "Orpheus in the Underworld", then she appeared on Star Search with a group called, "The Vibes." She has won fitness titles in Northern California, Las Vegas, and Nationals. She was the 5th place in the Ms. Fitness USA competition and 8th in the Ms. Fitness World competition (1999). She was the 6th place in Ms. Fitness USA and 9th place in the Fitness America Pageant (2000). She was the 1st place in the ESPN competitions. Her competitions have been televised on Fox Sports Network, ESPN and ESPN 2.
Shiva had modeled as a fitness model for many magazines such as Ms. Fitness, Oxygen, Fit Mag and The Ironman. Shiva had acting appearances in the movie “Army of Darkness,” TV series "Mr. Belvedere" and "Doogie Howser" and commercials by Coke, McDonalds, and Disneyland.
Today, Shiva is a professional trainer and had taught over 10,000 students in various fields such as Ballet, Jazz, tap, Hip-Hop, and Fitness classes.
Shiva Bagheri also teaches musical theatre (acting, singing and dancing). Shiva has choreographed a number of ballets including versions of “Sleeping Beauty” and “Nutcracker” as well as creating original works such as “Wizard’s Wish”. Shiva Bagheri has been teaching dance and fitness for 20 + years. She teaches both children and adults.
Shiva loves Mexican food, listens to the music of Prince and enjoys Jodie Foster’s acting. Shiva Bagheri is a fine athlete, dance instructor and a positive role model for Persian girls.
