“Death to Dictator”, she shouts!

Protestors set fires in a main street in Tehran, Iran in the early hours of Monday, June 15, 2009. Iran's supreme leader ordered Monday an investigation into allegations of election fraud, marking a stunning turnaround by the country's most powerful figure and offering hope to opposition forces who have waged street clashes to protest the re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Later on the opposition decided that this is not enough, so they demanded reelection!

Iran's supposedly defeated presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi said on Sunday he has asked the powerful Guardians Council to cancel the result of the presidential poll, while urging his supporters to continue peaceful protests.

Security forces were overwhelmed by the persistence of the people!

Supporters of Mir Hossein Mousavi try to calm down fellow demonstrators as they rescue a bloodied anti riot policeman (center) who was beaten during a protest in Valiasr Street in Tehran on June 13, 2009. Opposition had mercy on many police officers or else a great number of them would turn up dead. This mercy would register in policemen’s heads and it will transfer mouth to mouth around the security forces. Eventually this behavior could overturn the police to take side with the opposition!

A backer of Mir Hossein Mousavi helps evacuate an injured riot-police officer during riots in Tehran on June 13, 2009. Another act of mercy and forgiveness from opposition towards police!

Throwing Rocks at Security Forces!

Police and Basij bikes were burned and destroyed all around Iran. Protestors would beat the security forces, chase them away and then set their bikes on fire!

Saving an injured policeman from absolute demise by the demonstrators. Some of the protesters had mercy on the police and saved them from certain death by other demonstrators. What humanity to show mercy on your enemy! This would make deep impact on security forces to possibly later on joining the people.

Face off!
A protestor has thrown a policeman off his bike and chased him away and now is throwing a rock at him! This is the kind of bravery we need amongst our opposition members.

Victory is unavoidable – Change is coming!
Moment of truth: Face to face with security forces …
